I dont like it at all.
lynnandcharlie (Jan 17, 2010)
anyone afraid of negative comments should not use this site
Flubbles (Jan 17, 2010)
Or you could take it as a positive comment that somebody is actually telling you the truth, i'd rather have a slightly negative comment than no comment at all.
scowell (edited Jan 17, 2010)
Flubbles, are you kidding me? You, of all people, do not take negative comments or criticism for your drawings, but you give them all the time.
I like this drawing. It shows originality and is quite pleasing.
Just ignore Flubbles (we do) and do your own thing.
cyclops (Jan 17, 2010)
...and you are ?
Flubbles (edited Jan 17, 2010)
I dont like criticism from people (nobs) who have to hide under a different alias because their to scared to give them in their own name, i dont mind people who i actually know giving me criticism, if you ask people i know who have gave me criticism in the past i'm sure they will back up my arguement.
backmagicwoman (Jan 17, 2010)
I've given you criticism before and you took it very well...
lynnandcharlie (Jan 17, 2010)
I am not mad at him for not liking the painting, I am saying I am not upset because someone does not like what I did. I find this whole forum a learning experience
Miss_DJ (edited Jan 17, 2010)
I don't think it's one of your best. But, coming from someone (me) that has a whole range of crappy to 'not too bad' kinda draws...I can relate to the 'normal' human being..lol...as opposed to the artist that is pretty much excellent all of the time.
It's on the Beginner board, after all. If it were on the Advanced Board, I'd wonder what it was doing there. But, heck...welcome to the compassionate and sometimes cruel 2draw.net community. It's a weird and wonderful place to hang.
Flubbles (Jan 17, 2010)
You need criticism to grow, without it nobody would achieve anything.
lynnandcharlie (Jan 17, 2010)
you are right
Miss_DJ (Jan 17, 2010)
that's true, Flubbles, but honesty without compassion is cruelty. Not that I'm accusing you of such.
I'm not judgin, I'm just sayin.
shults (Jan 17, 2010)
I'll get a critic (good/bad) better from an artist I respect much more than of someone whose gallery is empty, (or even empty of worthy pieces).
Today, I find myself asking for criticism, probably because I agree it's nessecary for improvement.

It may not be too nice to just say you dislike something without further explanation, but I don't think that someone should post his pictures on the public, if he's not ready to hear a variety of comments.
lynnandcharlie (edited Jan 17, 2010)
yes thats what I have been trying to say, I just should have explained myself better when I made that first comment. when I read my comment again I saw how people thought I was complaining about a negative comment
