I only take mine out to clean them because they are gauged earrings.

O_o I have a 4 gauge captive in each ear, they just dont pop out.

You don't remove them to clean them cyclops...?....I have 8 gauge in my bottom holes, I can't go any bigger ....and then I have 4 more holes going up each ear and they have gauges ranging anywhere from 12 to 16 gauge in them..and my cartilage is just a plain earring...if I don't clean mine once a week..they get a bad smell.

i dont remove them, until I go to the next size,back in the 8 gauge days when the ring was flexible i didnt mind removing them, but now i just soap and spin them in the shower to keep them clean, i dont have an issue of odor, maybe its cause you have multiple holes. ;)

Whoa....you have that many big holes in your ears? Tell me in object size..I don't know anything about gauge sizes, since I don't have them, only see them. I have ordinary plain pierced ears..pin size holes. Are yours like pencil eraser size and bigger?

No...the larger the number the smaller the hole...18 is like a standard sized earring...16 is like the next sze up from that..so where cyclops wears a 4 and i wear an 8..his holes are bigger than mine...so my bottom hole is large and they get smaller as they go up....size 8 would be roughly the roundness of say a slender pen that you write with...

HAHAHA..ok. YES, TMI!! lol...I guess you can tell I am pearl stud and gold hoop taste only cause I don't know what I am talking about..I was just trying to picture her with plugs going up each ear!! That's what they use to keep the holes stretched right?? I'm laughing reading this now, believe me, talking to her about butt plugs was the last thing on my mind. HAHA~ crazy people here. lol
