I dunno i've just got something in my head that people expect me to do realism, so when i do something that doesn't look "exactly" like the ref or i've drawn something from my imagination i think people will think i'm crappy at drawing or something.

I don't think so..i think it's good for you to break away from realism sometimes..The hand with the match I especially liked...you did a very good job with it...I can't speak for everyone but I really look forward to your breaks away from realism..Not to say that i don't enjoy your realism...because I do..I think your very good either way...

I have found that it's harder for me to draw something that looks more like a painting than a photo digitally speaking. When I paint with actual paint on canvas, I have a hard time painting something realistic rather than painterly.....go figure???

I think your flower draw is quite colorful and eye catching...not to mention, very painterly!! Refreshing to see now and again from you, flubbs!

Last night i got up to go to the bathroom and there were 3 baby slugs crawling across the bathroom floor...now i have to figure out how they are getting in...nowI don't mind them ..but not in my carpet..not fun to step on slugs when yer half asleep..

You've probobly got a gap underneath one of your doors they can get in from outside, you should sprinkle a line of salt outside all your doors.

Well, earlier i followed the little shiny trail of dried slime..and apprently they are coming in through the air conditon vent..so now i gotta find out how they got in there...
