So that would give Bob a score of 0 in your book? Don't understand why you would spend 4+ hours of your life drawing Hitler, but it is well done.

ps. I hate looking at his sick eyes, but are they that different in the ref? Different shapes, size of iris, or is it the angle?

I've seen paintings of people being murdered , mutilated, devoured by demons..paintings of children being mutilated and abused...all kinds of monstrous things..and as repulsive as I have found these paintings..i can still appreciated the talent and artistry behind them...we don't have to like someone's at to appreciate how talented they are and that is how i feel about this...and It should be showcased..a lot of your stuff should be showcased Bob...I don't understand why it's not...

I like it a lot. He's a god-awful kind of man, so I'm really really glad he's dead, but this is definitely a wonderful drawing done on him. It definitely needs to be showcased.

his eyes don't look as wonky as you've made them here. from the viewers pov, the left eye iris is too angular giving it a smaller appearance and the right eye lid doesnt have that sharp angle in the middle about his pupil..they do look mismatched in the ref but mostly because the left iris (from viewers pov) is lighter in color with more of a reflection.

also the right part of his bottom lip isnt skewed up like youve made it, the highlight of the picture totally erases his lip line and its actually quite normal and straight.

yes the left eye still looks like a cup..has a flat bottom. i dont think you need to make the bottom more rounded rather than shave afew pixels off from the left side bottom of the iris so its a smoother curve.

Nobody,I noticed,made the obvious remark about Hitler;(ok,this is a very fabulous,almost faultless portrait.I still can;'t figure out how you got the bumps, lumps just right;those old photographs were not perfect,I've seen the b/w documentaries(ugh)that the Germans took.Tsk,A masterwork...oops,did not mean it HIS WAY,of course.)nobody said"Hitlerwas an aspiring"prince of artists".(?)YAH.He wanted to be one-rich,famous,admired.2 out of 3.

I never really looked at this before. My gosh it's beautiful, like a masterful pencil drawing...gorgeous fine texturing. I like how you can see the madness in those eyes...but I wish he didn't have that little smirky smile...makes me want to hurl. Talk about living forever in infamy. Who'd name their kid Adolph now other than a neo-nazi? Have you seen the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"?

I can't believe this isn't in the Showcase. Haven't you been sending in your protection money to the webmaster? Hmmmm?

I did try quite hard on this, I even measured the proportions with the tip of my little finger. I dont care as much anymore, the results are more luck rather than judgment. Although I did try to get the proportions of the chair right because it would look silly if I got them drastically wrong. As far as the showcase is concerned, I think there have been bigger misjustices in the world.
