Excellent! I really feel this. Talk about light and shadow! Your eye is immediately draw to the lower left and then the reflector zoom them right up and into the distance. Really, this is COOL!

When i was much younger my dad used to drive the whole family to my grandads farm every other weekend...and all the roads were windey country roads simular to this.

I had to watch the animation to see how you did the meticulous texture within the lit portion of the road. The shadows that follow even the tiniest pieces of tarmac and the lit edges of the reflective tape really gave me a chubby.

Sweet, why did I miss this one? I sometimes wonder what you do professionally, it has to be something you can play with your good eye.

This is exactly what a roadway looks like at night when the headlights shine on the surface! We don't have reflectors like these though. We'd never see the glowing eyes of animals crossing our path if we did.

When I play this car racing game at shockwave.com.....this road that you drew looks a lot like the roads that the cars race on. It's a really awesome game.....you should check it out.....you'll see some great looking highways and roads and really great graphics. Great draw!! :)
