It is advanced.
It has great scales. specially above its eye, the one looking like a river stone..

Do all turtles have eyelashes??

this is partly a commissioned drawing and a response back to those that wrote that i dont belong on the advanced board. i think i do belong here but ive been lazy with my drawings, being distracted by my 6 month old son. anyway, i hope yall like it.i still have more detail to do with the background and other places but its almost done i think

Of course you did.. I believe I made it clear to you that some of your drawings were not advanced, not you. Laziness is a flaw, not an excuse!
The fact that you can do advanced doesn't necessarily mean all your pieces are advanced.

i didnt say that they were, and i didnt say that you said it. ive already explained that most of my drawings are really not finished, i was just not inspired to finish them

This turtle is awesome.....I think it's definitely an "advanced " draw. Turtles are awesome creatures....I love them. I had a small "snapping" turtle one time....his name was "rodney", and he was cool! We fed him small goldfish and crickets. We had him for quite awhile, then one time I looked in the aquarium and he was gone....somehow he managed to get out of the aquarium, and he got away....I guess he wanted to go back to the Susquehanna river, where he came from...."lol"! Great draw! :)

just a little tip..if you want to do sand on chibi paint just go to effect and get the monochromatic color texture in a later then do another layer on top with the sand color..lower the transparency and merge them then you can do the dodge and burn and different places..it will save you tons of time, the drawing is amazing i have to add. great done!
