Drawing fur is difficult for me to do.....I know it's not perfect....but I'm tryin"! Suntan....that "owl" that you see in the upper right hand corner, is not an owl...."lol".....it's supposed to be a planet with a ring around it.....like saturn or jupiter has...."lol"!!! The ref pic shows that little planet, so I thought I'd add it to this pic.......I guess it kinda does look like an owl though. I still want to do some more work on this pic. I really love tigers......that's why I wanted to try drawing this. I thank Georgia Lesley for inspiring me to draw this.....she has a really nice website....a lot of great artwork there. Anyways.....thanks again for all of your nice comments.....I really appreciate it. :)

I was very tempted to start using the texture tool......but I managed to resist the urge...."lol"! I did use it a wee bit on the moon.....but it didn't look right, so I got rid of it......I think the moon looks better without the texture. Also....that little planet in the upper right hand corner has a touch of texture on it......maybe I should change that.....maybe that's why it looks like an owl instead of a planet...."lol"!! I still feel that this picture isn't quite finished....I hope that one of these days I'll be able to work on it some more. I need more practice on doing "fur".....it's kinda difficult for me to do. you have such patience and such a kind heart firecracker, i love this , the feeble warm orange colors gives it such intimacy and confor and warmth while the cold and dark atmosphere really gives the feeling of the night. Very very nice
