Subject scores -10. Execution +10.

Terrible man, but AWESOME draw! ;o)

So that would give Bob a score of 0 in your book? Don't understand why you would spend 2 days 6 hours of your life drawing Obama, but it is well done.

I guess we all agree on the poor subject....and your amazing talent. :)

ps. I hate looking at his sick eyes, but are they that different in the ref? Different shapes, size of iris, or is it the angle?

**I should rephrase that and say a difficult subject. Not poor. His face obviously interesting you. :)**
Missdj (Oct 19, 2009)
Aubrey, you are an amazing artist!'s not his eyes, but what's behind them that's frightening.

By Howard Galganov

When Obama won the Presidency with the help of the LEFTIST Media, Hollywood and Entertainment Liberals, Ethnic Socialists (ACORN), Stupid Non-Business Professionals and Bush Haters, I wrote: It won't take six months until the people figure this guy out and realize how horrible a mistake they've made. And when they come to that realization, the damage to the United States of America will be so great it will take a generation or more to repair - IF EVER.

The IDIOTS who not only voted for the Messiah, but also worked [hard] to promote his Lordship, are now left holding the bag.

Here are two things they will NEVER do:

They will NEVER admit to making a blunder out of all proportion by electing a snake-oil salesman with no positive social history or management experience of any kind. They will NEVER take responsibility for the curse they've imposed upon the immediate and long-term future of their country.

In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror show in power are themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he makes and the consequences thereof.

In just six months, the Messiah's polls are showing the following: On Healthcare Reform - He's going under for the third time with polling well under 50 percent, even within his own Party. Even though he might be able to muscle a Healthcare Reform Bill by using Chicago BULLY tactics against his fellow Democrats, it will just make things worse.

On Cap and Trade (Cap and Tax) – The Fat-Lady is already singing... On the Stimulus Package (Tax and Spend) - His popularity is in FREE-FALL.

On the TARP package he took and ran with from President Bush -It's all but Good-Night Irene. On the closing of GITMO and "HIS" war on what he no longer wants called the War On Terrorism - He's standing in quicksand with his head just about to go under.

On a comparison between himself and George W Bush at the same six months into their respective first term Presidencies - Bush is ahead of him in the Polls. On a comparison between He Who Walks On Water and the 12 preceding Presidents between WW II and now - Obama ranks 10th. On a Poll just conducted, that asks who would you vote for today between Obama and Mitt Romney - It's a dead heat.

Between Obama and Palin - Obama's ONLY ahead by 8 points and she hasn't even begun to campaign.. It seems to me that Obama wants to be everywhere where he shouldn't be.

He's personally invested in [totally insulting] America's ONLY REAL Middle Eastern ally (Israel) in favor of Palestinian Despots and Murderers. He's traveling the world apologizing for the USA while lecturing others on how to do it right, when in fact and truth he has no experience at doing anything other than getting elected.

He went to the Muslim world in Egypt to declare that America IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION while he heaped praises on Islam, where he compared the "plight" of the Palestinians to the Holocaust.

The Russians think he's a Putz.

The French think he's rude.

The Germans want him to stop spending.

The Indians want him to mix his nose out of their environmental business.

The North Koreans think he's a joke.

The Iranians won't acknowledge his calls.

And the British can't even come up with a comprehensive opinion of him.

As for the Chinese, he's too frightened to even glance their way. [After all, China now owns a large portion of the United States.]

Maybe if America's first Emperor would stay home more, travel less, and work a little bit instead of being on television just about everyday (or forget about his Wednesday Date Nights with his Amazon Wife) or stop running to "papered" Town Hall Meetings, perhaps he would have a little bit of time to do the work of the nation.

In all fairness, it wasn't HARD to be RIGHT in my prediction concerning Obama's presidency, even in its first six months, so I'm going to make yet another prediction:

OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH HIS 4-YEAR TERM, at least not in a conventional way.

He is such a political HORROR SHOW, and so detrimental to the USA and his own Democratic Party, that the Democrats themselves will either FORCE him to resign or figure out a way to have him thrown out.

Who knows, maybe he really isn't a BORN US Citizen and that's a way the Democrats will be able to get rid of him. [He is a citizen, but not a naturalized citizen with both mother and father being US citizens.]

I don't believe the Democrats have nearly as much love for their country as they do for their own political fortunes. And with Obama, their fortunes are rapidly becoming toast.

The Democrats can keep on blaming Bush for EVERYTHING, but that game's already begun to wear real thin.

Their mantra was "WE DON'T WANT 4 MORE YEARS," which the STUPID people bought, since McCain was nothing at all like George W Bush.

The new mantra will soon become: "WE DON'T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS."

National healthcare is like a hospital gown: You think you're covered but you're not!!!!!
Flubbles (Oct 20, 2009)
People are too busy looking through rose tinted glasses than to read about what people have to say about obama.
Kloxboy (Oct 20, 2009)
LOL You would quote Howard Galganov, Dan.
That pretty much solidifies who you really are.

Axil62 (Oct 20, 2009)
So who am I, really?
jekyll (Oct 20, 2009)
Maybe your a Canadian, eh? Hahaha ;)
Roytje (Oct 21, 2009)
"The Russians think he's a Putz.

I can't take the text serious when he says this kind of things.

But congratulations, Aubrey.

Dr. David Kaiser
History Unfolding

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that
have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I
have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not
believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that
is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know
how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect
storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that
has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make
massive loans to people we know can never pay back? Why? We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by
anyone, has "loaned" two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the
past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That
is our money - Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money?
Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for
it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders - Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our
economy, Why? We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents why we are exceptional,
and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think
critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity.

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election
(violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply
wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?

We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges
to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic
- To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, and Social Security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare, and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely
what I am talking about) - the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.
It is potentially 1929 x ten...And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even
name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait
to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla, Alaska. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is
unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea
to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for
you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?
I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.
This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new
and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes,
you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning... As a serious student of history, I thought I
would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt
in the mid-1930s. In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking
rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups
that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative
"losers" read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing
jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot.
And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into submission - Which they did - regularly.
And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the
controls of government power, person by person, department by department,
bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first,
encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught
exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course,

How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He
did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all,
better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the
country, across Europe, and across the world. He did it with a compliant
media - did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and ... CHANGE! And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history books. So
read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called
a crazy troublemaker.

He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.
Do not forget that Germany was the most educated and the most cultured
country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories,
and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just
two terms of the U.S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing
others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors
against neighbors - All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a
choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even
if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to
me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by
closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But
I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I
believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the
next elections.

Sooo, are you going to post these boring second hand texts of why Obama is bad for the USA until there is a new President? Because really, it is getting old, it went stale already a few months ago.
The majority of your fellow Americans voted for him, suck it up and deal with it.

And another thing, I am 100% certain that it wouldn't have mattered who Obama is or what he stands for. As long as he is not representing what you like, you would have reacted the same way. But again, this is ridiculous, clogging up drawings others make with your ruminating messages.
Bubblicious (Oct 21, 2009)
I'm sick of politics.

Wonderful drawing Aubrey, looks like a photograph :) Congrats on Showcase, it is well deserved :D
Axil62 (edited Oct 21, 2009)
enjoy: Did you even read it?
Can you say "apathy"?

"It's's not fun and happy...I don't like it...waaaaa, waaaaa...I only care about my immediate gratification...waaaaa...
I don't want to think... waaaaa... I don't care anyway.... waaaaa..."
enjoydotcom (edited Oct 21, 2009)
No and I'm not going to. It bores me to bits that you keep posting these here on a drawing site. Sure, art is there to provoke thoughts. Fact is, that what you are doing is just copy-paste work. To be honest, I don't have a founded opinion on Obama. To a certain extent I have the liberty to not think about US politics.

Even tho some might think that the US rules the world, which is partly true. But outside the borders of your country is an entire world, and we have our own politicians and society to worry about.

Edit: Can you say "blatant ignorance". Do you know anything from other countries and their politics? Then why should I invest time in yours?

In a way you're like a Jehovah's witness, trying to bring the light and shoving a foot in the doorway. So that people who are really not interested in what you say have to listen what you say. I appreciate your brilliance in drawing, but that doesn't mean I have to think what you think or read what you think is great and the one and only truth. That my friend is what makes a free world.
backmagicwoman (Oct 21, 2009)
I'm not trying to get between you guy's discussion..but I do agree that Obama is running our country into the ground...I feel like despite his attempt at getting on tv and trying to appeal to the public through talk shows and lame attempts at being funny..his idiocy in the things he says and does ...trying to seem as if he's just one of us...but I see something very sinister in him..I feel he's playing a good part to win some confidence and then he's gonna drop the bomb on us...He's very shifty and I can't find it in me to believe he means us any good..granted..maybe the art works aren't the best place for the long maybe there should be a political thread in the forums for these discussions..because this is my country and I am concerned about what happens to it...and I don't discount anyone's opinion on the situation because we are all entitled to how we feel and should be allowed to express such...and I am curious and open to what others think...
Axil62 (edited Oct 21, 2009)
enjoy: OK, so if you're not reading it, then what's the problem? How can it bore you if you're not even reading it?
Oh and P.S. We do rule the world, if we go down everyone goes with suck it up.
enjoydotcom (edited Oct 21, 2009)
Because I have to scroll allll the way back down to add a comment or read what others have to say about a drawing.

Wasn't your country already ruined when he came into office, courtesy of someone called George W. B.?
I'm not going to comment on what Obama does or doesn't do that makes you feel he's not the right man for your country.

And with that attitude you're surprised non-Americans don't like Americans? America already brought us down, remember the fumbling banks? Sigh...
Axil62 (Oct 21, 2009)
Ooohhhhhh...pooooor enjoy....that must be exhausting! I hope your finger is OK!
enjoydotcom (Oct 21, 2009)
No it's not, it is hurt really bad!
Axil62 (Oct 21, 2009)
Good.I hope it rots and falls off.
enjoydotcom (Oct 21, 2009)
Must say I'm a little disappointed that you yourself never seem to type up your opinion on the man. It's the copy-paste work that is a drag. This conversation would have been a lot more interesting if I knew your views. And how you see and feel the way he effectively ruins your country.

For the sake of argument I've read it:
" dumbing down education for the past few decades"
- Obama was elected president little short of a year ago.

" falling of the mortgage system"
- That was already happening a long time before he got elected.

* Comparing Obama's campaign slogan 'change' with the rise of Adolf Hitler?!
- Really dumb, out here we have a saying: "Results in the past are no guarantees for the future."
Flubbles (Oct 21, 2009)
My grandad used to use these rubber rings to put on bulls testicles so it stopped the circulation and they dropped off...i put one on my finger for a few hours once and it went purple.
Axil62 (Oct 21, 2009)
Scanned it? Is that how you folks in the Netherlands do things?
enjoydotcom (Oct 21, 2009)
Is just copying and pasting texts you did not write yourself with incorrect facts something you do?!

I've heard and read "He's bringing us dowwwwwn" from the minute he was President. Have you ever just stepped in a room with a broken vase already in it and been blamed for doing it?! The States and the world was already in a mess. Last time I looked he's not super nanny. And I'm not pretending that I know much about it, but I do know that what is written by this Dr. David Kaiser contains misleading information.

Until you post something you have written yourself with facts and not fiction or gut feelings I'm done with this discussion.

Aubrey: Great drawing! It's wonderful to see your work here!
Axil62 (Oct 21, 2009)
If there are "incorrect facts" in the text, I'd appreciate it if you could show me what they are.
Bubblicious (Oct 21, 2009)
Yo Axil, I have a question! I'm just curious as to why you copied enjoy's, Cameo's, Alex-Cooper's, and Suntan's comments from the Hitler pic and pasted it here? Just curious...
Axil62 (Oct 21, 2009)
To illustrate a point. Do you need further explanation?
Bubblicious (Oct 21, 2009)
enjoydotcom (Oct 21, 2009)
And still nothing on your views. I give up, you're not able to give me your opinion without quoting others?
I have already pointed out the parts in 'your' texts that are misleading. I'm not a parrot, I don't like to repeat myself or others.
Aubrey (Oct 22, 2009)
Hey everyone, thanks. Again, I was only hoping you'd all enjoy the art no matter how you felt about the subject within it. I'm just happy so many of you do. Here's the link to the reference picture so you can see where I was coming from. If anything's off... ah well, it'll just be off, cause I'm setting it to finished!

enjoydotcom (Oct 23, 2009)
Dorothy, that is a very bad deal you have there! And this was the kind of example of bad president-ship I wanted to know. If it affects you personal, or you know anyone who deals with this kind of problems, then you have a right to speak. Not if you just copy-paste other peoples words.

I honestly thought you in the States already had an extremely bad insurance system. Only for the (somewhat) wealthy and the rest can only go to 'second rate' hospitals. And I believed that Obama was trying to fix it. Guess I was wrong.
