This is lovely so far! I'm really diggin' the yellow and brown tones. It gives it a nice classy feeling. The left eye could use a bit of a touch-up, though; just make the pupil a bit larger and round out the bottom, and it should look just fine.
But keep it up! I can't wait to see it finished :D

I fixed that, but something still doesn't feel right. maybe i was just staring at it for too long, dunno.

This painting is of a woman in a mosaic revealed on Israel. The women in the mosaic looks down, and parts of her were destroyed during the years. I tried to paint her the way she must have looked like.
