I don't know who "Layne Staley" is.....but this is an amazing draw. :)

I can certainly see the likeness in the eyes and mouth. I didn't like Alice in Chains when I was teenager but I grew to enjoy their music when I was in college. When I found out most of their songs were influenced and written about the pain and suffering that comes with drug addiction (especially heroin), it really set the mood for me when listening to their music. Something honest and cathartic comes out of some of their songs that I can identify with, good stuff.

"Jar of Flies" was pretty sweet. My favorite album was "Dirt". I used to clean this clubhouse at a golf course in Larkspur on the weekends when I was about 22 years old. The clubhouse had this amazing sound system, great speakers in every room (like 20+ rooms). I would put in AIC's Dirt and just blast that shit to the max. Mind you, it was like midnight when I did this and the course is located in the middle of nowhere, so no one could hear it. I'd clean and just rock out till like 3am, pretty easy job. I got $50 an hour. It was a good second job to get my bills paid.

Amazing draw ...very sad to have so much talent and cannot find a reason to live...I love all their albums..I have been a huge fan for a long time.....Strangely enough I find comfort in a lot of their songs...but the one that hits me the hardest is Down In A Hole...Firecracker..Layne Staley was an amazing singer for the band Alice In Chains who later went on the commit suicide....here is a link to one of their songs..and you can also hear other songs by them at this same link...

I'll probably check out your link also, because I'm not familiar with this artist, or with "Alice in chains"......but if their songs are about suicide.....I may not want to listen to it....because that brings back some horrible memories for me. This is a really fantastic draw though......I could never draw like that in a million years.
