The new show on Animal Planet called 'Jockeys', is a unique look into the life of the jockey community. My interest is personal, as I knew the brother of two of the top jockeys in the horse racing world...Sam and Eddie Maple. This new show is very informative and discloses intimate details of the jockey's personal lives...their struggles and relationships. Julie Krone was the first woman jockey to win the Kentucky Derby and the only women to be inducted into the National Horse Racing Hall of Fame.

This is an awesome picture "Gloworm". I agree with "Gillie".....your blending is just perfect. I don't know how you do it....I wish I was that talented. I watch "animal planet" a lot.....but so far I've never seen this new show about "Jockeys". I'll have to watch for it. That would be an interesting type of show to watch. Great draw!!! :)

great job gloria! love horse racing'must admit the betting side of it' seems to be a lot more women jockeys over here in england' and have backed and won on a few of them'in my opinion there as good and strong riders as a lot of the men'a girl called hayley turner being the latest top jockey who unfortunately has just had a quite serious fall and is in hospital at this moment in time.

Im a pro gambler and i bet on the horse racing most days of the week! hayley turners a great jockey but the majority of the rest are useless, especially rosie dobbin she couldnt ride out in a finish if her life depended on it.
