some people need a smidgen of education though, Joyce. It's principles before personalities that Marcello is advocating. The principle of drawing very friggin well to be there, and if not...then work up to it. If that hurts someone's feelings, get over it and improve!
But, frankly, I'm certain that at times there is some odor coming from that board....lol

yes, I believe it was the odor le poop.

Its not just advanced, and its been quite awhile now and seems to be getting worse.

The intermiediete is like the new begginners board
aswell as the advanced seems to be a mix of the new intermiediate and beginners.

kinda annoying personally.
but whatcha gonna do?

They maybe sticking to the time limit and forgetting the effort now?
People need to acknowledge its Effort we want out of the time minimum.

Wow! What a great way to get some of my gallery shown! LOL. Funny, but I still have to 'force' myself to draw in advanced and only when I 'know' I'm going to totally throw my whole self into the drawing. Even then, if there is anything I don't like about a drawing I've done in advanced, it's history!
I have to giggle when I see how far I've come since first starting out drawing online about 2 yrs ago....I'm still obsessed too... 0_O Thanks for all the plugs, Miss DJ & enjoydotcom! =)

Poop might have been a bit harsh...there are some fine drawings on the advanced board but they don't belong there.
I haven't drawn here in a while, but I still come back to browse and when i do browse I usually browse by board. I like to see a certain caliber of drawing on the advanced board and lately it just doesn't seem to measure up.

Marcello seems to be the only one who comes around lately..

Marcello's so awesome for that. Like, I've been around for a while and this problem is really resistent to any help. We've all thought of solutions, over and over, and it just seems unsolvable. So let's all get wasted and forget about it hmm? BTW thanks for the feature swirve (high five)

It is possible to step over the poop.

Ignoring the piles of crap on the floor is one way to go, I guess. Of course, another way to go would be cleaning it up and then teaching the children not to shit all over the place.

"teaching the children" is the FIRST thing we need to do, well actually, the first thing would be to make the kids clean up the shit, then punish them for shitting on the floor in the first place....that'll teach 'em!

Wouldn't it be grand, (but a royal pain in the ass) if Marcello set up our user links to only be able to create on boards that are appropriate for our talent levels? That would be lovely.
Then there would be no frivolous piles to be concerned about.

I'll know (from the GREAT advanced drawings here) if I'll ever in my LIFETIME be good enough to draw there, but for now, I just admire those artist's abilities from 'afar'.....lol

I have done no poop on advance or intermediate that I remember :) Right now I can not submit any drawings or even save them, therefor I get no poop at all :(
