"Wow"!!! What a nice surprise to see a horse draw by Aakyra!!! This is really a beautiful pony Aakyra, and I love the colors that you used here. It looks so "southwestern". I've missed seeing your beautiful horse draws. I hope that you will be doing some more of these draws. Good to see you drawing again!! :)

Thanks Sparky! I am working on a large pastel for an art show ... I am under the gun to hit the deadline, but I think I will make it. I really needed a break from the intensity of that piece, so I appreciate the comment and the break!

I wish I could see the large pastel painting that you are working on for an art show. I bet it's beautiful. Do you have a website where you "post" your artwork for everyone to see? :)

Thanks Pappa, Miss DJ and Maria, I really appreciate the comments. Obviously, I love horses and this was part of a picture I couldn't resist. There is so much suggested with few defining details. This work was my attempt to suggest something. So, not the details I seem to get bogged down in and a little different for me, but it was fun. So again, thanks so very much!
