This is a nice draw.....she sorta reminds me of "Mother Teresa".....without her "habit" on. She looks kinda sad. Great draw!! :)

Ree: as far as my recolection goes, and that gets less and less reliable the older I get, I have never seen you draw a portrait before. People in scenes, yes, but not up close and personal like this one. This one is outstanding. The moulding of her face and skin. Her hair is very well done...and the painterly quality is excellent. I like you colour choices also. Muchos Bravos dear lady!

Thank you everyone! QT, I have...but not that often. I really have a soft spot for elderly people and just love them. So I thought I'd try drawing an aging woman. Portraits are a challenge for me, yet I like attempting to draw them. Thank you again everyone for the nice comments.

you did a great drawing of someone with a head injury, her pupil is dialated and it looks like an old scar on her forehead and she has a sad look to her face like some older people get. she is probably feeling bewildered
