I wrote this program called frame editor. I'm curious if there is interest in it being integrated into 2draw.

Here are a couple animations made in it:
- by snoozy27
- by self

I'm going to ask that anyone interested in this program being integrated into 2draw to try the program out (it's a java web start app that lets you save to your hard disk) and post an animation you made in it. After you make the animation, export it as an animated gif and upload it somewhere (such as http://tinypic.com/) and post a link here.

Is this only black and white?
Also, is this a response to RateMyAnimations.com? :p

i like it

but... can the animation be save at a lower play rate, or is it at a set speed when saved ?

animation is fun...

Ive tried using it but the erasers not working, if somebody can do a step by step guide how to use it ill definitley use it if it was here.I did a bouncing ball and a masturbating chimp but i wasnt that happy with the outcome. How did you get your lineart so neat cyclops?.When i went wrong and pressed delete the whole drawing went and my eraser wasnt working, im obviously not using it right.

cyclops: you can change the time for any frame (or set of frames) by selecting the frames (hold control or shift to select multiple) on the right side and changing the time at the bottom (in milliseconds)

flubbles: right click and drag to erase. on a mac hold down the command key. If you click the help menu there are a couple help tips.

so the higher the milliseconds the faster it runs?

naw, the milliseconds refers to how long that specific frame is shown. so if every frame is 100 ms, it will show 10 frames over the course of a second.

This is way rad man. One question though, unless I'm supremely stupid, there doesn't seem to be a way to move frames? For example, if I was to clone a frame from the beginning of the animation, is there a way to move it the the middle or end or wherever?

Or do I just need to plan ahead better? D:?

If it helps, I'm trying to animate a frog croaking, making his throat expand and then contract. However I drew all the frames already for expanding, and I can't seem to figure out if I can clone the past frames and move them to the end for the deflating.

so the higher the milliseconds the slower the frames run?

groove: I don't think there is a way to reorder frames, but that's definitely something that could be added in the future.
cyclops: yes.

Right on, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
