This is really good and reminds me of character design artwork for some video games, like the breath of fire series. I think it's crying out for at least a simple background though. Maybe not even something complicated at all, but right now it's such a clean and simple style that all the white space is making me feel like it still needs more. The grass looks a little too sketchy compared to the cleanness of the character.
