Loved the colors in the last one so much, I decided to 'speriment with just putting abstract colors down, and seeing what they looked like.....ended up looking like a head...so thats the direction it took. Strange looking fellow, but once again, enjoying the colors. Marcello, love your site! Suddenly my creativity is flowing.

Yeah, this site is a wonderful thing. I hadn't drawn anything but tedious architectural abstractions for class for two years until I came back here, and now I just have trouble finding time to draw all the things I have in my head.This does look a little bit like Zep's style... nice job integrating all the colors. Okay, Happy with this, figured I'd stop now, a'fore I do something to mess it up...lol...plus, I wanna try other things.

You two make a great team. Zep, I am really curious to know if you do any works in other mediums, as you have such a distinctive and "marketable" style. I have a feeling your paintings would fly out of galleries. So, do ya slap any real paint around?

thanks people thanks a lot....hey DBA...both of us make engravings, etchings, xilographs, lithographs and that kind of stuff...we run a little litograph workshop at our job....thanks for your supporting words, in fact this is our first collab ever....huiri tell me that he wanna starts the next one...we´ll see... :)

I really like how even though the picture's shaded with the same lines, the different parts of the picture are all separated by the different directions of the lines. Great pic Zep :)

thank you guys...very kind....well clox, they said lsd always back from time to time....i test my brain back in 1988...it was a nice and sweet trip over a frozen pond near michigan lake...more or less -6º celsius, deers, owls, and some other animals i don´t know :)....who knows, maybe it connected me with the spirit of crumb´s brother....btw it´s wierd...but that year i bought 2 or 3 books of robert crumb....he´s one of my favourites american illustrators...just in case...here in Chile lsd users are practically inexistent, and the drawing was drawed only by the influence of coffee and cigarretes...:( |

I like how the colors set the mood of this "story". They reflect the way the character seems to feel. If all of the lineart were removed, I would still be moved by the colors alone. |
