Draw your subject on a transparent layer, no white background. Then add another layer under it to draw your background. I hope this helps. I'm not the best at explaining. I like the tiny clouds(:

I’ve been drawing online for almost 19 years ..I still delete more drawings than I post here.. if I’m not 100% happy I save as hidden/unfinished and work on it more after I’ve had a break from it...rarely take less than an hour per drawing
