Yay..waters lookin great! good job!@
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 26, 2004)
This is beautiful, and yes, I do believe if I can get the trajectory down just right I'll hit those lovely sharp rocks just in the ocean. Because, emma, someone has to fling themselves onto the rocks from the top so it will be romantic, so it might as well be me. Oh, wait, I have to get my flowing gown on and wait until dusk before I jump. LOL
emmamommalag (Apr 26, 2004)
LOL, Dead.. you and I have very different notions of what's romantic. That just sounds gory to me. lol This looks beautiful, xwind.. great job on the stonework and the water. The colors are just right, too.
xwindflyer (Apr 27, 2004)
People, your supposed to use the staircase, you don't have to jump! Just think of all the stuff that could happen inside..out of site..inthe dark..heh,heh.( hmm. better leave that alone). lol

OK, time to quit messing with it, and call it finished.

That was called "moderating", Axil. It's my job. I could have easily just deleted this, but I chose to leave a warning instead. If everyone were to ignore my warnings, and continue to break the rules, a lot of pictures would get deleted. It's not wise to ignore moderators.

Eat shit fuzzbutt.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Apr 18, 2004)
You mean the artist doesn't have the artistic license to put a relatively small subject on a larger canvas? I mean, what if that is part of the point of the drawing? Or you just happen to like it that way... I don't remember seeing anything in the rules about moderators choosing your canvas sizes? Maybe I missed that section... Oh, and I don't see that as *empty* space... It's wide open pink space. I like pink and I like wide open spaces. I wouldn't want my arrowhead cramped into a small space. ;)
xwindflyer (Apr 19, 2004)
Let's see, hmm I used 120.9kb out of an allowed 500kb of space. Does this mean I have to use all 500 to be correct?

well this is better than I would do at minerals... they are so hard, even just to photograph them is difficult... glad ya tried, it was worth it ;)
emmamommalag (Apr 17, 2004)
Emerald men, dixie.. they can't help but make those jokes and amethyst an old lady so agate quite a kick outta them. I think this was a great idea, xwindflyer.. good job on all of it but that hammer handle is really great.. looks like real woodgrain. And that quartz at the top is really cool, too.
dixielandcutie (Apr 17, 2004)
hahah, omg...*giggle* ya'll are great.
xwindflyer (Apr 17, 2004)
Thank you all. Yes minerals are hard to do. I think it'll be quite a while before I try it again. LOL at emmamommalog's pun. that's funny. Wood is easier than gems.

I combined them both. What do you think of the results?
dixielandcutie (Apr 16, 2004)
hehe i think it's nifty ;p hard to see at first tho because of the angle i had my screen...but i love it
Consequential_Biopsy (Apr 16, 2004)
Heh, on my laptop screen if i look at it from very slightly above it looks completely white, blank. moving my head down though exposes all the colours..wonderful!
davincipoppalag (Apr 16, 2004)
Its awfully light on my screen so I can't really see all the details but it looks like that's working for you. Sometimes with clouds, less is more..I tend to get carried away once I get rolling on them

I can't seem to locate an "airbrush feature". Where is it located?
davincipoppalag (Apr 16, 2004)
I believe (with my faulty memory, it's the last brush choice on the brush pallette..has soft looking edges
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 16, 2004)
On the left side of the box where you change your brush size is a line of brush types... square, etc, it's the bottom one, I think... It's really fuzzy looking. On the bottom left corner of the screen when you put your mouse/stylus over the feature it should tell you when you are on it.
xwindflyer (Apr 16, 2004)
OK. Thanks, I didn't realise that was the airbrush. I thought it was just a Fuzzy round brush. lol

the.. sea... has some interesting texture, but it could do without the lime-green... blob.. in the middle.
xwindflyer (Apr 14, 2004)
That is an attempt at showing reflection of sun. maybe I can fix
umi (Apr 14, 2004)
Yes, it looks a lot more like a sun's reflection now. Is it really that gloomy at sunset wherever you live?
