I invited some friends of mine at the tavern and the waiter decided to bring his guitar, sit with us and play the song "Angelitos Negros". >:)

Xod is still in the blue mood from the turkey incident. very cool Xod.
thug (Oct 25, 2004)
Looks like the song killed the party atmosphere. I hate when that happens. Shoulda pulled an Animal House and smashed his guitar. Good pic though, not many drawings have multiple characters like this one. Extra credit for that.

ITS GOOD ITS SPANISH!

Im gonna do a translation

"Painter born in my land,
with a stranger brush,
painter that follow the way
of so many old painters"

Anyone remember warhammer 4000. I used to play it eons ago and I thought about making my own creatures for the game, or any game, and these were my answer to their Gene stealers. Same principal, but mine was more adult oriented. Doing this on O-cocky she paint, getting a feel for it again.

Well, damn-it, Why can't I just do something quick and simple. I get so involved when I want it to achieve a certain look. Xod, to answer your comment, you know sticking its many things where they don't belong. Well they belong there, but not by something like this and the way it does itand...........Oh forget it, I could go on for hours, then I'll just get myself worked up, later.

I love pictures with reflections in them. Sunglass reflections can make any picture attractive, although with your pictures they just add to the luster :)
thug (Dec 15, 2004)
one of the most memorable moments during a trip to Aruba with my wife and without the kids was noticing the beautiful scenery reflected twice in my wife's sunglasses. Beautiful wife, beautiful beach and ocean, beautiful young ladys in bikines, beautiful day... I saw this picture and didn't have time to comment on it and just now found it again. I thought at the time it would have made a great photo but didn't have a camera.
Thanks for the memory.
Xodiak (Dec 15, 2004)
You should draw your wife sometime if you have not already thug! >:)

Well now you know how I feel about Lascaux. But this is good, it doesn't look like you've been struggling at all.

Nah not sloppy, this is very well put together and in such an elogant way too. Nice touch with the rose petals as well :)
thug (edited Oct 25, 2004)
If this = sloppy, then sloppy = artistic so this = artistic. Simple logic prooving that this is an artistic piece. Who wants to see John Denver anyway?

This is a really good picture. It has some really nice detail in it. the planes look cool.
DarkCloak (Dec 6, 2004)
Nice drawing! My gradfather was a navigator in a B-17. Flew over 60 missions, and only missed 1 because he came down with the flu. His commanding officer didn't want him on the plane, told him to stay on the ground. So he stayed on the ground and watched his buddies take off with the rest of the squadron. His plane never returned. The entire flight crew was MIA. Strangely, his plane was the only plane that didn't make it back. Kinda freaky, eh?
davincipoppalag (Dec 6, 2004)
Sure is! Wow.. you hear stuff like that.. and its amazing. Wife's dad was bombardier in B24s.. he was on the Roumanian oil refinery raids ( I have a pic of that too in here)..
