well the whole face is a bit too long. The side of the face could have a little more shape too.

I know.... but overall its okay. still room for improvement. and yes, I liked the purple. It did get more depth, more, pulse in a sense. |

I love the mouth and eyes in this painting. It's kind of eerie...I did a painting almost exactly like this. I was really depressed at the time. I hope you're not.

I feel like my art is like grabbing handfuls of sand. I keep getting new things but I keep losing things too, and they won't all fit at once, but if I stop grabbing it all slips away.

Makes me sad to think you feel disappointed with this. The white-chalk-on-black-paper effect is great. That highlighted cheek is beautiful. And the mood of the drawing is truly wonderful. I can just hear him playing some melody that makes you feel like it's 3:00 AM and you're the only person left of Earth. |

this is pretty cool. the definition and shape are great for the seemingly few strokes you used. it should have more comments.
