Amazing depth of color and texture, and what a different choice of subject.

Shoot - I ran out of space again. She got flattened out by the color. I need to put in some deep shadows. :\

Yay, got an extension and managed to fix up some of those problems.

Quirks (Nov 19, 2011)
Beautiful and magnificent. Years late but still, this is lovely. I love the purple added to that, as well.

So amazing. One of the most beautiful photorealistic pieces I've ever seen.
dorothyblueeyes (Oct 7, 2011)
Very beautiful. I think I know the difference between me and many of the other painters here, now.For example, this is very smooth, finished, and slick. It' very professional. Good job. I do not tend to like going all the way to smooth, finished, and photo-like. I like the paint(figuratively) to look and feel like paint.I even like it similar to paint, messy and gooey. And there seems to be a tendency here, to like everything very smooth, slick, and finished. Guess I am out of the groove. I just like allowing for different styles, and different veiwpoints of what painting and drawing is.
Teapot (Apr 5, 2016)
Actually, Dot, this is quite impressionistic compared to the photograph, not an attempt at photo-realism at all.

Fantastic soft skin.
Flubbles (Oct 10, 2011)
Very nice, I like the style. It's not 100% photo realistic, I can definitely see some anime influence for some reason.
Imperfect (edited Oct 10, 2011)
Thanks everyone for the comments, and Flubbles, flattering that you think it nice (your art's amazing by the way, but I'm sure you already knew that :P) ...Ironically, I don't like anime, never watch it even, lol.

*cough* It's ideas like these that should stay in my head, locked up in a chest with no key. >>; Gah.. I rushed some parts because I got bored (and the image got laggy), so sorry for that D:.

Thanks for all the C&C everyone.
I usually have problems drawing noses but I probably shouldn't have "outlined" it like I did - makes it pop out too much. Will try to develop more on this style on the next one.
DBA: At first I thought you meant the rules of this board but no...I was denied posting on some other board because I didn't do photorealism (rules were kind of unclear in that place)...
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Feb 1, 2006)
No, I meant the general "art rules" you learn as you go...the ones it's okay to break once you know them, :) not the rules here. I still think the whole thing is fine, it flows and the main attention is drawn to her beautiful eyes.. and, of course, the biting of her lip. I wouldn't have noticed anything about the nose at all if someone hadn't mentioned it. I wish I were capable of doing something well besides photorealism. It gets really tiring at times. I like your style.
Jervy (Feb 3, 2006)
Yeah that's pretty much what I thought you meant there! I just get annoyed when people think that an artwork is "good" only because it looks like a photo. I know it takes alot of work and is very difficult to achieve but in general it's something I don't particularly find interesting but there are always exceptions to that... I think that everyone is capable of forming their own style but style in itself is hard to define. If you are really getting tired of it, you might want to stray away from photorealism for awhile...
davincipoppalag (Feb 3, 2006)
This is wonderful. I wish I had the talent to try anything but semi-adequate photorealism.

Ok, the text thing is hard to work, and i looked around in the tutorials and docs, but couldn't find anything on it. How do you work it?

There is nothing wrong with a nude and this one is interesting, the pose, leather seating. Very well done indeed! Love all the lighting on the torso.

lokking at pussies from this angle isnt that bad you just need to make them likke fresher not so worn out
backmagicwoman (Dec 23, 2010)
My aunt used to say vaginas came in two categories...
1...Outies: all the idividual folds are sort of out and visible right away..like a box full of baby cow tongues...

2.,,,Innies...where all your tender parts are nice and tucked in giving the vagina the appearance of an egg with a small slit all the way down it...

I agree with this as I have seen many naked women..I guess when it comes to vagina, though, it's just a matter of ''taste''...Hahahaha!!!...
