Testing, one two three. Been awhile since I've done any oekakis...the applets round here...enough like Photoshop for me to get a decent result the first time around. Just a little portrait of one of the many characters that swim around in my mind.

thesolarwinds (Feb 26, 2006)
simply stunning. like passion and anger mixed into this fire.
Sweetcell (edited Feb 28, 2006)
I see love, it's burning, bright as anger, or as deep as passion. You are so the guy.

I had a dream long ago with Freddie Kruger as a math teacher on a space station. We were in the classroom and I couldn't get a problem (bad at math) so i called him over to help. He was bent over me going through the problem when I looked out of the large bay wall to wall windows and saw something coming towards the station from deep space. I asked him what it could be and the whole class ran up to the windows, Freddie then says "It's an invasion." I may have woken up, or the dream swithced, but it was something that stuck with me to this day.

Since we're sharing.

OMIGOD! I thought I lost 2 hours of work on this, and I was sooo mad, but then I went to revise again and pressed undo a couple times, and IT CAME BACK! I love you, shi-painter.

edit---> I am QUEEEEEN of backgrounds. Dammit. Pretend, okay?

this looks like viscerals stuff. nice job
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 26, 2006)
This is a strange but pleasing combination of things... It looks somewhat "animeish" but, then it has a very realistic, believable quality to it. I love the palette you used, and i really gotta have one of those peasant style/corset things she's wearing. sexy!
patienceisoverrated (Feb 27, 2006)
Thanks DBA... I admire your art a lot, so I like it that you like it.

I don't intentionally set out to draw anime, but there are a lot of things I like about it when it's done well, like long, curving lines and gravity-defying hair and clothing. But I can never bring myself to draw it because I can't get around the fact that if you're eyes were that big, your entire head would be taken up by eye socket and there'd be no place to put your brain.
Gigandas (Feb 27, 2006)
Haha, kinda like how I think Ed, Edd, and Eddy will one day melt into slime due to their super wavy outlines.

Not much to say. ;) Kinda reminded me of an 80's almost punkish sorta thing. :P

I like her scowl and feather earring... and the red eyeliner! I wish I had the skin tone to pull off red eyeliner.
laurael (Feb 25, 2006)
I used to have earrings like that! Only, they were baby blue. Liking all the colors in the hair.
davincipoppalag (Feb 25, 2006)
I like the flow of the hair lines and all the colors, too.
suzie (Feb 25, 2006)

Besides, I'm hoping i'm not that scary looking

I kind of like v1, has a ghostly quality to it
suzie (Feb 25, 2006)
The annimation is spell binding..its like watching you mould this out of clay or plasticine..fascinating. *Goes to watch again* :D
TaCO (Feb 25, 2006)
Looks like a clay mask
Sweetcell (Feb 28, 2006)
Well, that is one of the best animations I've seen, it definately looks like you molded him from clay, and though he is a little creepyfing, is it weird that I find him sexy?

Will look good when it's finished. I'm up to a lot of new bands but your going to have to give a clue as to who she is and from which band. Finish soon.

Trying to catch your heart Is like....
Trying to catch a star

Waiting for a star to fall,
And carry your heart into my arms

In my arms baby, yeah

I like this the best out of everything you've done here so far, and I think a very simple, distinct highlight in his eye would
"set this off" and make it really wonderful. (I love bunny wabbits, I don't shoot them, and once I almost had a really terrible wreck because I dodged one on the highway.... wabbits are sweet and harmless)
Belldandy (edited Feb 24, 2006)
He's georgeous - nice picture, my rabbit's a big fat monster :) Unfortunately in Australia wild rabbits are not harmless to the environment.
suzie (Feb 25, 2006)
Beautiful job on his fur, it looks so fine. :D
