what..when..nice work!does look guyish, but i think its the nose. edit: okok see...version one is much more feminine..i think when you cleaned up the side of the face you changed the jaw and cheekbones, giving her a more masculine look.

Being deceptively minimalistic in style, viper's reinterpretation of Donkey Kong Country with Sonic the Hedgehog as the main character stands out primarily because of his creative attention to details, such as Sonic's S tie instead of the DK tie. The picture accomplishes a great sense of depth despite its high degree of stylization. The visual reinterpretations of the familiar DKC elements of bananas and Zingers evince viper's creativity and skill. Congratulations to viper on his first place entry!

"No way, you're on your own!"THAT IS PAC-MAN. PAC-MAN! (points to large circular object in picture) I finally thought up an idea (hooray!) and so I came and drew it as soon as I could. A Kingdom Hearts/Pac-man crossover. If Sora were to get attacked by Pac-man (...) he would probably think he was a Heartless, maybe? I can't draw Pac-man, as silly as that may seem. Well, I can't draw him at an angle other than from the side. Ehh...

I think it is just lovely. I particularily am drawn to the red areas...love the depth of color and texture. When I look at this I deffinately see the real paint effect. I think though that when you have everything else texturized that the beak may need a little more attention. I don't see this so much as realism, as an expressive color explosion. Just great marcus.---edit---- By the way I love the first version sketch...its got alot of personality.
