My 2nd attempt at doing a "Kiss" draw......I'm not quite finished with this....I'm having trouble with his hand....I hate doing hands, but I'm trying. I'm not really a "Kiss" fan, but I like the way they look with their painted faces.....that's why I decided to do a "Kiss" draw. I'm posting this as "finished"......I can always work on it more later....:)

Hi "paintbrush"......thanks for the nice comment......I'm glad you like this pic.....I kinda like it too. I still don't feel like an artist yet.....I have a lot to learn, to improve my draws. I'm still an "artist wanna be"...."lol". I can do good on some pics, and I have problems with other pics.......this one turned out ok though. Thanks again for commenting.....I appreciate it. :)

My garden is massive and it's way way way more than I can take care of which drives me crazy every day. The verbena is a plant that is the peachy color in this drawing. I don't suppose there is anything I can say that won't get a sarcastic, rude, mean remark from you so how about you just ignore my posts? You are being a bully. Does it make you feel proud of yourself?

Let's see how much I can improve this tomorrow. Pretty much everything strikes me as wrongtrying to draw from the perspective of the lightsource. I think if I can't imagine what is visible from there I won't be able to shade it properly. Reminded me that it's easiest to paint frontal lighting...because I don't have to put myself into multiple perspectives.
only one light source - no diffuse light - dull surface - no tricks to make it look right/good. thinky thinky

i wish i could reach out and gently push his chin down and and the back of his head up. he's quite stiff. it seems like a difficult pov to start off with.

Not entirely sure how to start this. From time to time I see digital art produced here that is very detailed an realistic, I look at how many hours were spent on one piece and I have to wonder why someone would put that much time and effort into a drawing on 2draw. It's just not that important or fruitful. It's pixels on the internet. It's almost meaningless and yet people labor for hours upon end trying very hard to produce something that isn't going to be viewed for more than a few days at mos...
