This is very cool Dan, looks like three dancers in some sort of off Broadway play.

Geoffrey's parents left the house. Geoffrey called up Jimmy. Jimmy called up Juan. Juan called up Geoffrey. Geoffrey met Juan on the corner. Geoffrey went home and ate a few of those magic mushrooms. Poor Geoffrey. Looks like he's having a BAD trip!

This is awesome. What else can you say? Did you use a referenece for this? Or was it just a random idea.

This is one of XOD's cousins. I like the contrasts you created with the colors you used, and the flesh colored lips were a good choice with the greens.. This is striking sag

Awesome I like the 3d effect you gave it. It looks more like a mysterious sea creature of some kind. I think we can jam with the band on Saturday, I'm free. ;)

Hmm... the lineart's great, but the shading's a bit confusing. It seems like for the arms the light source is to the right, and for his shoulder things it's to the left. Maybe having a background to establish a context might help, or using a reference of different robot art just to get a sense of how to use light and texture. Transformers can be pretty tough to work with, though, on account of their bright colors.

Sometimes I impress myself. In the span of one week I have learned how to play the Sonic The Hedgehog song “Casino Night” on the piano. I listened to the piano version of the song on vgmusic.com and figured out how to play it. Perfectly, I might add. And that is why I creamed in my pants. Because it’s an awesome song, and I now know how to play it. A special thanks to the 2draw members who introduced me to vgmusic.com.

Maybe if I can figure out how to hook my keyboard up to my computer I’ll make a recording of it and post it on a new picture or something. If anyone cares. Which you probably don't.
Sorry moderators. Didn't think it was explicit enough to warrant an 18+ rating. But I suppose you get the final call.

lolll... I'd like to hear it, my son loves Sonic, maybe I'll learn it too... if I creamed my pants every time I learned a new song though... I don't think I could function very well... I like this drawing
Alex-Cooper (Nov 24, 2004)
Hey folks. I'm glad you all like it. But unfortunately, I found out tonight that my keyboard is too old, and is not compatible with my computer. So if I ever do get it recorded I'm going to have to do it over my friend’s house, in his recording studio. That will probably be in a couple of weeks, ‘cause I rarely ever see him. Oh well. And funny, spiritdweller. I'm just psyched that I’ve learned something new because I haven't played in such a long time. You can only play the same Bright Eyes songs and Radiohead songs before you get tired of them. And I wouldn't want that to happen.

I agree with you Marcello. That’s what I originally rated it. I remember being thirteen and making jokes about how the football team was having anal sex with one another after a good game. So I doubt the idea of ejaculating would warp a thirteen yearolds fragile mind. But apparently someone disagrees. No big deal. It just gives me a chance to write really long winded comments under my pictures. Must remember to keep it short.
Zack (Nov 24, 2004)
Your ardor for keyboard has inspired me to start practicing and trying to get better at reading music again. Thanks, man. Funny pic, too.

The best way I've to record from keyboard to computer is via a cord from the keyboard's headphone jack to the soundcard's line-in jack. Might need a 1/4th to 1/8th mini adapter for the keyboard. If your friend has a recording studio, though, well shoot.

Also, I found my songbook for Whatever and Ever Amen. I could scan some stuff in, if you want. Got my copy off eBay if you're looking for the real deal.
Turtlebuster (edited Nov 24, 2004)
as a fellow musician i understand completely. when i figured out the piano version of Xenogear's 'world map" theme i felt exactly the same. it rolls along tremendously and allows for some brilliant emotion. the sonic song is cool too. i probably lack the nostalgic connection to it that u do lol
edit: and post your recording plz, i'd love to hear it. if i could figure out how to make my guitar studio software work, i'd be recording stuff on my own computer.. but alas...
