I had artist's block. Couldn't think of nothin' to draw. So one day I asked someone to name a random object. He said candle. So this is what I drew. While looking for ref. pics... I came across this one. The smoke intrigued me. So there it is.

You totaly dont sound like an ass hole. That is a fair assessment. Jesus is a historical man that is recognized in other places other than the Bible. And no one has to believe in God. However, as Billy Graham has said, "You cant see the wind. You can see the affects of the wind but you cant see the wind." That doesnt make it non existant. (I think it was Mr Graham) Just something to think about. And also.....thanks for all the comments. This was fun to draw.

thirsty for inspiration because the person (Axil62 you know who you are) that I have learned the most from watching and who inspires me the most has been too busy to draw much lately, so I looked at this pitcher of water and I drew it. (pun intended) :)

i'm sorry to the mod who had to move this to unfinished hidden. i thought i had set it to that in the first place, but i must have made a mistake ~_~; . it's a fairy crouching down on a white mist. i was trying to do something abstract, and i'm not sure if i accomplished that.

first try at a face. I have no reference and so far she looks awkward. I think its the left eye. Shes not done yet so.....

Theres a decent hair tutorial in the forums.. Also take a look at some of Everdreams, and particularly Icats they do HAIR.. nice work sindy~!

This is excellent for a first try, Sindy. Those eyes are very pretty and you already figured out how to blend the skin tones... that's got me stumped with lascaux. The only problems I see are that the eyes are a little too high on the face (I tend to do that too and then have to move them down) and there's too much distance between the mouth and nose. That's a very pretty mouth, btw! Keep up the good work. :)

Thanks for all the great tips and advice. Your right about the nose. I saw that after I had finished. And DBA you have a great eye for....well....the eyes. lol. I didnt notice the eye lid thing or even the iris for that matter.Thanks to all of you.

This is really good for a 1st time, there is way too much space between the nose and the mouth, otherwise, keep up the good work. |
