i'm sorry to the mod who had to move this to unfinished hidden. i thought i had set it to that in the first place, but i must have made a mistake ~_~; . it's a fairy crouching down on a white mist. i was trying to do something abstract, and i'm not sure if i accomplished that.

I started this because I'm always impressed by drawings of things that are clear, and bubbles are pretty, but I don't think it's my thing

first try at a face. I have no reference and so far she looks awkward. I think its the left eye. Shes not done yet so.....

Theres a decent hair tutorial in the forums.. Also take a look at some of Everdreams, and particularly Icats they do HAIR.. nice work sindy~!

This is excellent for a first try, Sindy. Those eyes are very pretty and you already figured out how to blend the skin tones... that's got me stumped with lascaux. The only problems I see are that the eyes are a little too high on the face (I tend to do that too and then have to move them down) and there's too much distance between the mouth and nose. That's a very pretty mouth, btw! Keep up the good work. :)

Thanks for all the great tips and advice. Your right about the nose. I saw that after I had finished. And DBA you have a great eye for....well....the eyes. lol. I didnt notice the eye lid thing or even the iris for that matter.Thanks to all of you.

This is really good for a 1st time, there is way too much space between the nose and the mouth, otherwise, keep up the good work. |

I'm finally starting to get this realism thing down. ;]Inspired by Thear and xaxsinglextearx's drawings. So, yeah, just a quickie to say I'm leaving for home tomorrow. Dunno if I'll even have an internet connection there or not. Worst case, I'll be back on 2draw after moving into my next apartment in two weeks. Note to Ty854: Sorry I didn't work on that big battle picture. It took more time to pack than I expected, and I didn't want to rush the drawing or start something I couldn't finish before leaving. Rest assured, it will happen, and it will rock.

I don't like how her hair turned out, or the lighting of the bottom two lights, but im pretty happy with it. She's supposed to be a butterfly girl, I think i'll draw some more pictures of her in the future. Hope you like!
