Whats a stocker?

Nice shells, I like the teal hue and slight glow they give off.
shults (edited Oct 17, 2006)
Haha! i found the real word for it, it's a stalker. I wasn't entirely wrong. some people use 'stocker'. you really made me go nuts, cause i use this word a lot.. couldn't find it on a regular dictionary, only on the urban one. :)
Axil62 (Oct 17, 2006)

Theres a certain sadness in those eyes...nice one
shults (Oct 2, 2006)
agrees. It looks like she's not getting something or that she sees something sad. really nice one lih.
What bothers me is that she's so little and uses such heavy makeup. but... you used a photo, so..

Shofar sho good.. (sorry..had to put that in)..I know it's a holy day.
Pseudonymous (Oct 1, 2006)
G'mar chatima tovah to you too. :) Have an easy and meaningful fast!
shults (Oct 2, 2006)
Fast is usually not helpful. it makes you hungry. it makes you despreate. It makes you open a lotus and remember you cant eat.
makes you open the fridge and remember the same thing.
it also makes you sleep for 20 hours ina 24 hours period. which is fun, but also a huge headache maker.
and lih, is that a new phase your'e having? are you getting religious? O.o

[vinci, it's THE holy day. I think. and what's sho?]

I wish I were a little girl, in this lie
No one could resist my little girl smile
I wish I were a baby, in this love
I'd be cradled in your arms day and night

I wish I were an old man, a scholar
With the wisdom of a 1,000 men before me
wish I were a funny dream that haunted
The people I love every time they were down

wow very nice , love the lighting , the effect of the stained glass on the girl and teddy is very effective
Miss_DJ (Sep 15, 2006)
Cindy, this is beautiful! You convey her emotion so well through the colors and tone. and I love the light!
KuteDymples (Sep 15, 2006)
I love this...it is so different than anything else here. i actually like the 4th version better i believe except for the highlight under the window, that looks good in the 5th version. I have been looking at this picture for the last 10 minutes. Absolutely breathtaking.
TammyF (Oct 11, 2006)
Your picture reflects the words brilliantly, and beautifully!!! I felt sweeping emotions, stimulated by the unison of the two becoming one, while I read and studied!!! Fantastic Work!!!

Sleeping Beauty's castle. Pweddy.
DinoFlorist (Sep 17, 2006)
very pretty colors! It looks like an oil painting in some spots. This is a lot how I have been imagining the Muffin King's castle would look if his castle were a bit cooler.

I had one of those growing up (but I can't remember if it was Anne or Andy) And I still have a childrens book from the 80's. Thanks for the memories Kute. :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Sep 13, 2006)
Raggedy Ann! :) I loved the book, and my Raggedy Ann doll was one of my favorites, although I put her through way more hell than Marcella did in the stories...my Alaskan Simoan dog Snow White ripped my Raggedy Ann's head off in the end. I think we should start calling Marcello "Marcella"... it's much closer to home. :D

I'm glad you did this picture, it brought back lots of funny memories, and you did such a cute job in depicting them.
KuteDymples (Sep 14, 2006)
Thanks everyone for the great comments on these, I guess they are just "Old Favorites" of a lot of people. Actually I do paint a lot of childrens characters for pay but on canvas I do much better than on the net. I am really not half as good as I would like to be. I have painted so many Winnie the Pooh pictures I have grown not to like "The Pooh" much. LOL My favorite childrens characters to paint is Disney, Mickey and Minnie. I just love them and could never paint them enough.

Sweetcell & shults, don't look at the "water", look at the mid-tones, highlights, lowlights, and shadows along with the over all shape. Keep trying though!! You'll get it!!
davincipoppalag (Sep 15, 2006)
Less is more with water and shiny stuff. I still can't do shiny... look at some of Axil's and Annas...
DinoFlorist (Sep 17, 2006)
I think when you draw an eye or a water drop you're selling your soul to the devil!
elly (Sep 18, 2006)
Not if your soul is already sold to higher ground first! =)
