Sometimes I stand in front of the mirror and try to make that face, and it's not half so easy as Mr. Avary makes it seem. I'd like to send him a letter asking him to reply in detail, step by step, exactly how he does it, because I think it would come in handy from time to time. But I digress.

There's a few things that don't seem quite right, haha. But the shoulder, now that you mention it, is quite off.

So I got a new mouse. It's wireless, so it doesn't shit out every time I try to move it. (There was a break in the wire on my old one, which is probably due to my own abuse.) Basically, I'm thrilled.

A reference used loosely for the black eye. I think there's something a little off, but I can't decide what it is.

Jan Saudek is one of my favourite photographers. His pictures are unapologetic, to say the least, and they hit you like a punch to the face. When I saw this contest I immediately thought of him.

If you watch the animation you'll see I had a hell of a time with the face, and I wish I could have cropped the canvas after finishing the piece. (That is obviously not going to happen.)
I'm not great with backgrounds, but I gave it a shot.
Also, I hope my lack of experience in the nude department isn't too terribly apparent.

A Mild Obsession With Tom Hollander.

So the other night I was watching the TV and there's this promo for a new mini series called "The Company". And I'm thinking it looks like something I'd want to see, but then all of a sudden I see a flash of Tom Hollander. So I immediately run to my computer to go to imdb and look up this new mini series to confirm whether or not I was hallucinating. AND THERE HE WAS. IN ALL HIS SUITED GLORY. And I was thrilled.

I really do not like elaborate backgrounds. (Unless, of course, they're someone else's.)

Oh my god, someone check his vital signs, stat. He's blue.
