This is a dedication pic for my neighbors whose house caught fire today. Everyone but their family dog made it out. Poor dog. Excuse the crappiness of the pic, I'm still a little shocked. Somebody move it, I put it in the wrong board. Silly me.

Okay, my computer is having a freak out....will finish later.Survivor is on! Finish some other time!
Hmmmm.....well...what should I do to it? I am not quite happy with the shading, because well...it just sucks, so I don't really know.

Imagine a light coming from someplace on the edge of the picture.. (even make a little lightbulb temporarily to use as a ref) then put the lightest parts on the side where that light hits this..and shade down to darker all the way to the other side (then get rid of the lil light bulb)..do this on a new layer so that if you don't like it, you can delete that layer and do it over... I bet you will like it better

Use Shi-Painter. Where it says layers, you just click on that. Use the top later for the lineage, the other layer for coloring, another for the background. |
