This is mostly concerning older artists here, since I'd expect most of the younger ones to not have had much exposure to this yet. When you make art do you think about the concepts behind it? Do you value technique and visual qualities over theory and communicative aspects? Are those all equally important parts of making art? an example I thought of is that in basketball there's a lot of math and physics involved. Hey! I used this nick since about 7 years or so ago... a bit before Dan Brown. Tagged it when I became interested in the end times. I developed the characters slightly before the release of Battletoads, but because I was quite young back then, didn't have the ways and means to expand the idea into something marketable.

I don't really like this, I just wanted it the hell out of my studio.Experimenting with colors and stuff, and I wanted to draw a gas mask. :P edit: If it's not worthy of intermediate, feel free to move it down to beginner.
