wa-how-ee. oh my good. wow. This anatomy makes me think of Alex Grey. That's a very nicely drawn physique right there. Great definition, shading, and contrast. And... am I seeing things, or is there a face in that puddle of vomit? |

The color of that iris, very intricate. Or maybe it's just the texture of it. So far it's the eye that catches my attention rather than the scales and the rigid lines near the eye. But this is very well drawn. I don't like dwelling so much 'how it's been done' because it really is all 'what's the meaning behind this picture.' Taking a closer look at something, especially an eye is really fascinating. You what they say: "The eyes are the windows to a person's (or another creature in this case) soul." Very fascinating concept. Art doesn't have to have a logical explanation. It all comes from imagination. Whatever stirs your emotions; that's what can make you do art. (if you know what i mean).lol anyhow, good job on this. |

Nice hand. I see a display of emotion in this hand as if the person that this hand belongs to is struggling to reach something but failed to do so. Because of how it's colored, there's a story that can be created in this picture.

trying to get my drawing head back. Seem to be dead for ideas recently, so while trying to work myself up to work on the other cyclops pic. this came to mind , so I had to spit it out. :}>

I don't think you've lost your drawing head at all. I have been so neglectful lately in browsing and commenting on stuff... I didn't even know this was here. My favorite thing is the petroglyphy looking stuff in the background. (And on his forehead, and his arms, and his "suspenders"... cool)

Cool, thank you all. I didn't know if it would stay on this board since it was only a sketch, and I'm glad it was so well accepted by everyone. Those are supposed to be , I don't know ( I can't believe I can't remember! UGH!) what they are called. The scarf/cloth that a priest usually drapes over their neck during mass. :}> Now that you mention it it does remind me of the nali. HA!

Thanks.. yea.. HK.. I know.. if you look at the versions..you can see I was workin this to death to do just what you suggest... but they never looked right.. didnt use blur.. just mostly overloaded it and used eraser.... im outta space.. and i was gettin googly eyed...

mmm, well cello, i´ve made two posters and a little book with my draws here, not for sale, but...many people ask me if i sell them, i think it could be possible, that could be very nice, some kind of annual, maybe you and your mods can make the selection every year and publish...(my draws of 300x500 here were printed in a laser printer in photgraphic paper, looks very nice, with no treatment at all in the computer, just downloaded and printed from Freehand©macromedia)...mention this because offset printing is cheaper but you have to manage big amounts of prints, meanwhile in a laser you control the number, even so you can print by demmand only...all the luck to you man
