I'm not a battle furry drawing god like noremacbut he calls his kiwi's, but what ever... the shading sucks, yet again. any comments on shading, huh noremac I'm asking you... or if any one else has any comments on the subject please I'm willing to listen, apply, and learn from your wisdom.....

A little advice..You can try to blend the colors together, especially on his trousers so that the drak shaidng doesn't stand out as much. I usually do this by putting the watercolor tool on low opacity and blend, blend, blend until the the colors sort of blur/come together. It takes some patience, time and practice, but I think you should do fine. Hope that helped.

Alright, a little on the shading part :3 I've found it helpful to keep a little folder of reference pictures. For example, if I find something with really nice cloth folds (I'm bad at those.) I stick 'em in there in case I need help drawing clothes. You could do the same thing for a lot of the techniques you want to learn. Of course, it helps to have so many people helping you too. <3 Awesome sword, by the way.

I'm just glad I can try and help someone to improve, even if I do sometimes stink at getting my point across. XD I've been keeping an eye out on your stuff, and I think you've got great potential. Just keep experimenting with lineart (you might especially want to try Sweetcell's idea with the airbrush) and coloring. Personally, I'd like to see more of your pictures with shading- it does wonders for dimension. All you really need to do is keep in mind which direction the light would be coming from. :3

– latest 4:I don't think I did a very good job on the pom, and her right eye is off a bit... but all in all it is a good pic for me.... I hope it's good enough for miss choc gum drops to color it.... Like Cindy said, don't be overly critical of your pieces (though we're all guilty of that) you really have improved, and glad to see you do more than your fox. Your linearts gotten much better, and your anotomy's improved. It's well done. Just one thing, in all this raucous drinking did she missplace her legs somewhere? X)

I have been trying really hard to get better, and kind words always help. and again to have a very good artist like your self comment and give instruction to me is very awesome... thank you very much... and the leg part, I just got lazy... And yeah I guess I draw my psychofox a little to much... but hey I'm proud of him he's like my child... he has a story line and he's my creation.... But I should be more diverse.... Ugh...I royaly suck.... I am sorry i couldn't really think of anything......yuh..... I am finished I guess...I dunno......yuuuh

Maybe put her in front of a table. Easiest thing just make a dark brown table, and a solid color background. This is real cute Yuki.
