The Phalanx hit the Persian Infantry line, but instead of the usual thunder clap of steel hitting steel, there was a harsh, drawn out snapping sound. The line was hit with such force that the Persian's wicker shields, useful in entangling an attacker's spear, burst apart and disintergrated under the press of Greek bronze. Persian archers desperately shot point blank into the advancing hoplites, but could not penetrate their heavy armor. The Greek Phalanx was unstoppable.

yeah, the water colour tool is good. I use it for the base colour... and I high light with the airbrush.... I shade with the water colours... I'm not sure I'll stick with that method yet though... I'm still testing things... It's good to mess around with the applets though. Keep practicing... I know I will... XD |

Well...there are things not quite right to me, so I'll have to fix it tomorrow, but this is Foxy Lady so far. Will add a background tomorrow too. Whew, hands hurt. I like her legs, esp. where her thighs meet her skirt - this is where I first started so where I was less lazy, heehee. But I'll continue working on it tomorrow. C&C or ideas in advance appreciated <3

beautiful. yeah, I'm less lazy when I first start drawing to..and as for critique... I think there is too much highlights on her knee, and shade her shirt a little more, like shade the folds a little more... but I think your doing really well. XD..
