i come from a hybrid family, im part portugeese, part english and part indian. However for this part of the competition i have chosen to research and draw my indian side.My Mum's Great great great great .......grandma was a housewife, as in those times, ladies werent a part of the society unlike men. Bein a housewife included going to the village well and carrying pots and pots of water for cooking and bathing. coming from the south of india from a state called Madras. The caste system reinged in those days and they were part of the lower caste (which im proud of because if we didnt exist with our farms the upper caste wouldnt have food to survive on!!) . where the men were farmers and the wives helped them and also did the housework. the time i took to do this is sorta alot for such a poor quality of work, but i was experimenting and trying different stuff and then kept undoin everything!! UH.....

i learned a lot about the airbrush tool by watching your animation. Your shading is excellent, and the way you begin this piece is stunning. Like you knew exactly the way you wanted those roses to look like. You're extremely creative and I really like your style! Keep it up and good luck! |

thank u sweetcell and VQ......like VQ said bass guitars dont have the holes in them.....i mite try to customize it bt im not tooo good with flames.... ill c... bt thanks anyways i can always rely on ur helpful comments!

I stand corrected. I should have realized since my brother plays one of this but check (musically incompetant :})However that metal stick would be a good add on, and just a slight hint of highlights on the front to make it look more 3-d.

They don't have holes but they have pick ups and switches and shit...maybe a pick guard? lol, the shines look nice though. Maybe if the strings were lined up with the fretboard it'd look a little more authentic as well. tandrew is right, though, the colors in the bg are cool. |

i wanted to draw a scenery sorta thingi....so i drew a scenery sorta thingi :) ...its not very good bt hell....ignore the time tho, i spent one hour on the phone with my bf....so u can minus an hour...

Not bad, you should cut down a bit on the dodge tool and use Air Brush or Watercolor on low to get some nice soft clouds and sky, but I like this. Reminds me of markers.

thank u poppa and sweetcell......i knew i needed somethin for the clouds...somethin more fluffy....but i couldnt quite put my mind to wha it was...lol considering the fact tha the air brush tool was starin at me! i mustve been dreamin! ......i mite go back to it and improvise on monday....bt for now im gonna lay bk and enjoy the weekend....lol......

Wow......to do all this on a laptop without a mouse or anything it's amazing..........You could buy an art tablet and hook it up........its like drawing with a pen on a board and it shows up on screen.....Those are way easier than a mouse too. |

its done...yes it crap....dont ask why i keep drawin the eyes! lol...like i said its soo damn captivating. partly cuz i wanna master the eyes... basically this picture is about the angelic side....lol...the cloudy eye and the devilish side ......the moon and stars eye...its not done yet like i said but make what u want of it...id like to kno wha u think.... |
