i really need to learn how to layer because i spent ages clouring this in only to remember i hadn't done a background!!! aahhhhh!!!!! If you are wondering who my model is for this drawng well that credit goes to my ikkle brother !!!!!! who posed exactly like this for a family photograph. thx bro

i can't decide whether to make more detail to the water or if i like it simple like the rest...mmmm....what do you think???? oohhhh i dunno what to do with this one, it seems to have great potentional but i cant quite seem to get the effect i want. The basic drawing is there but not the meaning. if you know what i mean....aahhhh!!!! maybe i should come back to it.

It looks like the kinda thing that could make an impact on you, but I think the lines are too sharp to do that.

i like the water, but one thing you should remember when drawing waves/oceans is that there aren't any 'splashes.' think more along the lines of misty spray type stuff and blur out the edges a bit.

i like the way that you put a reddened rim around the eye to show the person had been crying... i know it seems kind of obvious, but it is a good effect.... tears are a tad bit crude though... |
