Just got a tablet today! XD And I realized that my tablet skills suck. But oh well...practice makes perfect I guess ^^; and now, back to my homework..And I know the hand is supposed to be flipped the other way. >_> |

This is my first submition on the intermediate board and I thought that I'm pretty good with the tools and my mouse skills improved a lot since I started so yeah...I don't know...if it's not worthy enough, move it to beginners. Anyways, about this pic...I first though of doing absolute realism...but then I didn't feel like using a reference so the eyes are like that and the rest is well...non realistic. And this is my first time ever drawing an African American person...I just think there's not enough around here. yeah...I'm pretty much done with this...

The facial structure doesn't seem like an African American's. She looks more Indian, except for the hair color (would be darker). The hair doesn't have enough contrast with the skin color. In fact, if you squint your eyes, it becomes very difficult to tell the skin and hair apart. The background is confusing having such strong contrast. |

Woot! My research paper is finally done and I'm so happy! X3 I don't care if it sucks. I'm just happy that's it's over....so yes...I feel liberated after months of extra stress. Will add BG later

you should make her neck shorter so you can see her shoulders, and make it thinner. The hair is nice.

Yep...I had to makeup a test which was like a month a ago and I got a 75 on it and I guessed on most of the questions so I didn't do too well and got a 75...and I haven't been too progressive with homework lately since I kept starting on it pretty late...just a quickie of of my mood for the week.

Umm....it looks like the skin is totally white but the skin color disappeared when I uploaded it. Or maybe it's my monitor since it's a notebook computer. Anyways, yea...still trying realism. The reference I used for this was off a magazine cover. And...uuh...critques are welcomed as always . hmm...might make more changes later....I don't know what...but something.

Hm....well, the border and blurring didn't really help too much..especially the border. But otherwise this is a pretty decent drawing.
