A Very Demented Hand

I was trying to improve on drawing hands but didn't really go too well. The finger positions are so weird >.< I think I made the fingers too long.

Yes, they're too long. Make a fist and you'll see that with the fingers bent like that, the tips only come about halfway down your palm. Keep trying.. you'll get it. Hands are so hard to draw.. for me anway.

This was supposed to be simple....15 min work but then I just had to add details and take my sweet old time on this which doesn't even look good. Everytime I try to do something simple, I end up taking time on it....and Paint BBS screwed up on the layers and that pretty much messed me up =_= and my right hand hurts from gripping my mouse for so long T-T.....

Yes. I know....the top of the head is screwed up

Nekodesu, thank you for your nice comments! I like this draw of yours! The background is cool, and the face is nice, especially like the hair, too! It looks like the front of a 3-D card that says "I miss you" inside it.

One thing, though, is that the nose looks a bit squished. Not sure if you had intended it to look like that or not, but I think it'd look a bit better if it were less flat-ish.

Visual Kei

.....It's a visual kei rocker person. And this is sorta realism. Yet there is still the anime feeling to it..and NO, it is not a woman. It's a guy. References were used from several sources for the hair to get me motivated. I shall finish this later. I have to add more make up (wee fun!!!) especially around the eyes.

**edit** okay...so apperently, there was a limit on the size (not referring to the canvas size) and I'm pretty much done with this this one...so I'm going to set this to finish.

Added more makeup...pierces, highlights in hair...and more shading I guess.
The tools stopped working for some reason why..so I'm going to finish this later.
