i really like your lamp drawing, it's cool. I was in the process of drawing a lamp as well but I don't think I'll finish it now, It would look to trendy. Plus I think your lamp would kick my lamps ass.

isn't that "almond" poisonous? o_O
Kasha (Oct 26, 2004)
ewww... it IS poisonous.

anyways, I lOVE it :) I think your peach should marry my orange. lol

You're so better with textures. :( :| :\ :)
Xodiak (edited Oct 26, 2004)
The greatest part is that if you eat many of those almond seeds you die, because they contain cyanide. >;)
Actually, when I was little I planned of gathering many of them and eating them all together, but fortunately I never had the chance to get so many peaches.
The body fortunately can detoxify small amounts of cyanide without any problems.
Some fruits have seeds that contain cyanide, (apricots, apples, cherries) so it is preferrable not to eat them. (at least not chew them before swallowed)
It is easy for a household animal to eat those if you are not careful and the smaller the animal, the less they need to eat and die.
Tobacco smoke also has hydrogen cyanide. (among thousand other poisonous substances)
Capital punishment, Nazis and Al-Qaeda terrorists use cyanide gas. >:)

I love pictures with reflections in them. Sunglass reflections can make any picture attractive, although with your pictures they just add to the luster :)
thug (Dec 15, 2004)
one of the most memorable moments during a trip to Aruba with my wife and without the kids was noticing the beautiful scenery reflected twice in my wife's sunglasses. Beautiful wife, beautiful beach and ocean, beautiful young ladys in bikines, beautiful day... I saw this picture and didn't have time to comment on it and just now found it again. I thought at the time it would have made a great photo but didn't have a camera.
Thanks for the memory.
Xodiak (Dec 15, 2004)
You should draw your wife sometime if you have not already thug! >:)

Well now you know how I feel about Lascaux. But this is good, it doesn't look like you've been struggling at all.

You have to be an artist and a madman, a creature of infinite melancholy, with a bubble of hot poison in your loins and a super-voluptuous flame permanently aglow in your subtle spine (oh, how you have to cringe and hide!), in order to discern at once, by ineffable signs—the slightly feline outline of a cheekbone, the slenderness of a downy limb, and other indices which despair and shame and tears of tenderness forbid me to tabulate—the little deadly demon among the wholesome children; she stands unrecognized by them and unconscious herself of her fantastic power.

it's been 2 years since someone has commented on this? It's drawn on a canvas we couldn't possibly have now, with tools that are no longer available. or so it seems.....
..it's that amazing and that well done. I'm in awe as I stare at it, trying to remember it's a drawing......
davincipoppalag (Apr 22, 2021)
and its still amazing all these years later

Xodiak (Oct 21, 2004)
Great, shiny little pool ball. I guess beginners or people who have not played the game ever (like me) will confuse the 9 and 6 balls. I like the texture of the green thing of compressed fibers that I cannot name because my old, torn english to greek and greek to english dictionary does not have the word. Oh, it must be called a "felt". Thank you babelfish!
Very nice drawing Mr. Weiner! You certainly are a winner! >;)

Nice ball..billiard ball that is. It came out great. everything looks perfect. Good that it's a yellow ball, not blue. I had blue once, wouldnt wish that on anyone. Guys I mean.
