I'm back again!

Hey! Who remembers me? Please don't glomp me to death if you do (like the picture)! I'm back and hopefully I'll be staying. I've improved quite a lot, and you'll see that when I get over to the intermediate boards soon. C+C is welcomed. This was sort of a quickie, but I think it's pretty good for the time it took. Cookies to anyone who can name all the special people in the picture!

Yeah, You'll have to improve even more (as I will Too, in my opinion) before the intermediate board.

This picture wasn't quite up to par for me. I am better than this, and I'm hoping to put up a really nice pic today. It's the strangest thing though, what made me come back. I was on Deviant Art and by chance, Knockoff was online too, browsing the latest entries. He happened to find mine and asked "Hey, you wouldn't be the mkkmypet from 2draw, would you now?" and I told him I was. That reminded me of 2draw and I came back.

From what I've seen of halftones there seems to be a tendancy to use them in definable sections rather than blending them like you've done in the hair. Maybe try less blending and more coloring in distinct segments? I could be wrong about that though

Look at the first version, it's got the half-tones not blended. I kinda like it better... well, I like 'em the same.

I love the sketchy-esque lines to death! XD Hrmm... The red check draws my attention away from the rest of the picture... Maybe you could make it less... vibrant?

Very nice blending... each color turns into the next so smoothly. I like the stone-ish/cloudy sky background, too.

Oooooooo... I like it! You can use my lip drawing on my user board for reference, if you like. Very nice drawing, you should keep working on it. I suggest you show a little more separation between the bottom lip and top, especially in the middle. Also, try adding different shades to the skin and blend them together.

Great background!
If you don't mind me criticizing... one thing that bothers me is ther left ear. It's leaning off to the side to much. The other ear is too high on the face... : P The earings look like blue puffballs. The nose is too low-down on the face, making the line go up to far. The pupil might look better solid black, and you could blend the iris.
Great draw otherwise! I love the background, the hair, and the shirt especially. Keep drawing and you'll improve. ^_^
