I know, there's a lot of things that are wrong with this pic. o.o; (I did it on a school computer. ><;) Just seeing if I could do a somewhat decent picture... practicing shading and stuff... I kinda like the shading on the hair. ^^ |

You really should use the "unfinished ""hidden" mode to save these to your studio for "safety saves" It looks like it will be a good one.ok now im leaving im late!=D~

this looks pretty cool so far. ONe thing you might want to try is using a little more extreme colors (donno if that would be the right way to say it) for highlights and stuff. I notice that in your drawings a lot of time you make your lines at a lower to medium opacity, you might try darkening those too :) just a suggestion I think it would make your art seem a little more lively and pop out at people more. Good luck with this one though, I bet it will be really good when you finish

I think it looks pretty cool.. though im not quite sure it is intermediate quality just yet. you might want to add some more texture to the moon, or soften the edges but here again, it is marked unfinished so i dont like to judge them :). keep it up thought

cool m! ur getting a lot better and your playing with the opacity. you might try adding even more colors, like where the light hits, which appears to be the left side, you might want to make white, and then inward from there blend into the darker colors, making it look rounder.. :) but I think this is getting better and better. i bet you could be really good on here with some practise!ya i think i kinda messed it up a little!!!

The speckle stuff is done using the halftone controls.. I use the bottom one and set it about midrange..then on the first layer is one color and size floodfill, then second layer another color and size..floodfill,, same thing third layer.. then the wreath is on the fourth layer.. thanks all

one thing you might want to do is just sit down with a blank applet. push all of the buttons and see what it does with your lines.. note what each effect does and stuff.. then erase that drawing.. then you can sit down with a little better understanding of the applet. goodluck.. and pretty good first draw, though, as they said, you might want to spend more time on your next draw :)

Iam about to have a month off of school so I will have plenty time to improve my skills in art. I would like for some real Criticism on my over all style and skill. And I would like you to tell me what you think I can do to improve my style or skill.
