I agree totally! especially as it looks like the leg at the front is a left over from a "pin the tail on the donkey" game- I really wish Id sorted it out! Oh well... but the entries were all awesome!

This is a doodle? That is a great pic, more of a master piece than a doodle. I like the way the hair, eyebrows and eyes stand out while the rest of teh face blends, it looks really cool. She looks from teh Middle East, lovely.

Jan Saudek is one of my favourite photographers. His pictures are unapologetic, to say the least, and they hit you like a punch to the face. When I saw this contest I immediately thought of him.

If you watch the animation you'll see I had a hell of a time with the face, and I wish I could have cropped the canvas after finishing the piece. (That is obviously not going to happen.)
I'm not great with backgrounds, but I gave it a shot.
Also, I hope my lack of experience in the nude department isn't too terribly apparent.

try adding more contrast. you could do this by making a new layer with burn and filling it with various colors until you find something you like (or try other layer blending modes).

thanks peoples - Cello, I did try to mess with contrast using a different program, but it still looked like shit. The problem with this was that at some point I had switched from airbrush to paintbrush, and didn't realize for a while that I never switched back to airbrush, so it doesn't look as good as intended. But yes, contrast would help too, but I'm done with this sucker.

How does one open and view .pch files offline?

Alrighty, since I have so far figured out that the animations are .pch files and I know how to save them but what I'm stuck on is how to open a .pch file after saving it onto my machine. D: I learn a lot from looking at my own animations and seeing exactly where and how I messed up on some of my pieces. My friend wanted me to teach her how to draw (and I'm a really bad teacher) so I figured that I should show her some of my animations. On other oekaki boards, where the pieces of art get bumpe...

(To me it looks like the tail of a tornado touching down in the middle of a wildfire in a dry pasture, and the fire is trying to "rope it off".) Deep, huh?
