All done.
cmb (Mar 3, 2007)
It does that with me too- but if you log back in and then go to Mystudio@2draw at the top of the page you can get back in the submission page- and choose the category to submit in.. at least thats how it works here? (hope this helps)
deathking (Mar 3, 2007)
Thanks, I didnt know about that.
marcello (Mar 3, 2007)
Also, if you just log in on the page where it says you're logged out, then it will take you to the same page.
Also, if you use 'cookie'/'remember me' when you log in, it won't log you out after 30 minutes.

Spacing is indeed an integral part of pointilism. No spaces, no points.

Need help on increasing DPI for printing
enjoydotcom (Feb 27, 2007)
Like the title said, I need help on how to increase the standard DPI of 72 to at least 300 DPI. I need this because I made a drawing for a friend who is going to use it as an image on her business postcards. Is there a possibility? I already found out that although Oekaki is an excellent program to draw, it probably isn't the best tool if it has to be (professionally) printed... help help.

I never want to see another rib ever again.

Ref used. Finding my newfound pressure sensitivity really useful.

great use of light and shade... she does look thin- presumably the model was very skinny? I agreed about the back- although she is stretched out there might be more of a curve ..it looks to straight at present- an upwards curve to follow the shape of her spine....
deathking (edited Feb 24, 2007)
I wonder, if a model was pregnant, would its stomach area look like a baby held very tightly in tan rubber? You know, like you can see the outline of the baby's face and stuff.

There is beauty in this but it's not of a sexual nature. I like how you drew the forms, they're easily recognizable.

I'm curious; who's artistic influence effected you the most?

Indeed that is a fine answer. It's probably true for the majority of male artist.
Yep. A finer musical I have never seen.
Alter.Native (edited Feb 21, 2007)
The rough edges of a conspicuously refined guy.
This is a fine piece, and this f- word has been overused already here.
cmb (Feb 21, 2007)
Im afraid I was influenced af a child by the painter and TV presenter Rolf Harris.. hence the speed at which i draw,,,
Alex-Cooper (Feb 22, 2007)
I don't know who Rolf Harris is, but I youtubed his name real fast and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2d43ie9Mx0
It made me want to strike him in the head with a baseball bat for not being able to rhyme or sing in any sort of melodic way. About seals. To a techno beat. Probably a hasty judgment though.

I'm gonna be a Modern Day Drifter
Get out while I can.
Gonna trade in this life I've been livin'
for a pocket full of sand.
And a Modern Day drifter don't have to tell no one his plans.

I'm gonna find that lost stretch of highway
Where no one knows my name.
Where as long as the sky just goes on
And it's never the same.
And a Modern Day Drifter don't ever complain.

Bye Bye
How life
Feels like the right time
Keep on going strong
And I'll just keep on being gone.

Cause I'm gonna be a Modern Day Drifter
Yes I am.
Gonna slip this ring off my finger
Cause everybody understands.
That a Modern Day Drifter's got nothing but time on his hands.

That's true.
Press (Feb 20, 2007)
why would you want to be a drifter?
Cameo (edited Feb 20, 2007)
To get away from it all, Press! To be responsible for no one but myself. But of course that is unlikely except in this painting. So Marcello and Axil is my painting right or wrong?
Axil62 (Feb 20, 2007)
it's fine

Callypso (Feb 12, 2007)
Eden's redesign. She by far is the funnest character for me to design, so that's probably why she's my oldest character. I realize the anatomy/profile of the face/hands etc. may be a bit off, but this is a big step for me skill-wise. I didn't put as much effort into the lineart as I usually do, I wanted it to be a bit more loose. Sooo....yeah. Enjoy.

And her hair (it's not so much dreadlocks as it is really-tightly twisted strands of hair; think of very tight ringlets) is a lot of fun to draw. I challenge you to draw it yourself.
