I started drawing a picture on Oekaki Shi Painter and had to leave it so I saved it, but when I tried to go back to it later it only loaded the first layer. Is this a common problem? And is there a way to get my picture back? It still displays the later version of the picture....until I try to load it. This was a very frustrating circumstance and I actually haven't been on the site for a while because of my irritation with losing my work. If someone could help me get my picture back that would b...

Here you go people, anyone that wants to argue about anything, please do it here instead of peoples drawings, if you need a referee I am be there :) PS forgot to mention that a drawing has been deleted and I believe it was because of the arguments that had been started on it, so please people I dont want to see anymore deletions k? this is the place to "argue" in :)

No not insulting, but maybe think about not everyone appreciates your helpful tips, this isnt a classroom. This site clearly has moderators so let them be the ones to say hey, maybe this doesnt belong on the advanced. I understand that maybe where you come from people love advice and tips, but all cultures vary and some find it incredibly rude. instead why dont you send a personal memo and ask if they would like your help?

quit. arguing. on my non finished drawing. its making it really hard to go back and work on (any of them). that and i started something else. which i wanted to share the process with everyone because I tried some new stuff for me, but if you are going to comment just send me a memo, or dont post or go to the forum.

I took a look at your gallery just to make sure before I said anything. I think you are probably capable of becoming advanced some day, but you are not there yet. If Marcello doesn't care what's on what board and the "moderators" don't moderate anymore, then so be it but at the same time, if it's obvious that something isn't advanced and it's on the advanced board you're most likely going hear about it. Your intermediate stuff barely qualifies as intermediate, let alone what you've done here. I know it's unfinished but trust me, at this point, you don't have the skill to bring it up to intermediate quality. Like I said, I think you are capable of becoming advanced some day, but you need more practice first. |

Was trying this out on my Tablet PC, but unfortunately the Input Panel kept popping up and it really killed my mood.Does anybody out there know how to disable that feature momentarily? I do use it for some things, but would rather have the option to disable it when I'm about to do some artwork or sketching, especially on things like this... Maybe I'll pick this drawing back up again, but likely I will start the idea from skratch. Sorry to leave it unfinished!

I think there's an option somewhere in the control panel along the lines of "use gesture to open input panel" that you can turn off. basically shaking your pen back and forth causes that...although I didn't think that happened if you were drawing. |

If you use Oekaki Shi-Painter instead of Lascaux Sketch, my question is: what do you use in shi-painter that you find lacking in Lascaux? What would you like to see in Lascaux to consider using it?

Very nice drawing by the way, I like how it looks as if he is looking through a veil or a curtain. Don't know if that was what you're aiming at.
