DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Apr 2, 2011)
Now I remember, I asked for these....thanks again for painting them, Dan, they are gorgeous (and they didn't wilt here!!!! :) I just set them as my desktop background.
Thanks for finding them for me Dave. Not sure how you did it, his galleries are so full...it would be so cool if we had just a "random" search engine, where we could look things up. HEY, MARCELLO!!!! How about a search engine? Pretty please?

Frankly,I think itchy's is better than the Picasso. (My opinion.) Itchy's work was far harder to do,trickier,and took more detail,patience, than the Picasso. All the work of Itchy's is more delicate, subtle,and that was never a trait that Picasso could do.He was just a big,bold BULL. I think it's easier to make sweeping, bold statements; but the subtle,tricky hard stuff of depicting reality,without making it too stiff, is very demanding. Excellent, Itchy.
itchymonkey (Mar 23, 2011)
well thanks, you are too kind.
lori (Mar 23, 2011)
this bulged my eyes out :) I love it.

being a successful artist is just as much about being a good salesman as being a good artist. you have to understand the works in the context of the times, how they are presented, and how they are received.

monetary worth is arbirtrary, anyway. why do people pay thousands of dollars for some t-shirt that a rock star wore? if I were to tell you I had a painting by pablo picasso in my museum, you'd be far more interested in visiting than if I said I had some schmuck you've never heard of. that's worth money.

One of those times you think it's not done but then you decide if you go further it won't make it say anything more than what you wanted it to say anyway, so you just stop.

I thought I commented on this? Wierd, must 'ave been sheepy, drunk when I viewed it the first time, and thought I did. I like everything about this pic, but I really like , what looks like to me to be a photo in her pants, it's probobly a tatt, but trhe way it's lit makes it look like a photo to me. :}
Axil62 (Dec 6, 2004)
Yes, it is a photo, and no bump, it's not hitler. But if you get off on thinking it is then by all means, for you it is.
sincity (Dec 7, 2004)

No suggestions, just was not aware of that condition.It makes sense though. I don't see any point in changing it. If the drawings were kept to a minimum, maybe they could be done in basic. What's the limit there?
marcello (Oct 24, 2004)

Makes sense. I just didn't know what the deal was.
