thug (Jan 26, 2006)
last week Dan asked why we draw and post these pictures and I've been thinking about it alot and here is my theory: we are doing it as play. As kids we are happiest when playing games. Drawing is fun , as is commenting on the art presented at 2draw. Our basic animalistic instincts are to seek comfort and be happy and art is an avenue toward this goal. or maybe we're just attention whores.

Sounds like a reasonable theory.

snazzy as usual. I wish you could just leave all your drawings as unfinished, that way you wouldnt delete everyone of them but the option will be there.

Hey, make that hand give that guy his teeth back. That's just mean. heeheehee. I love this. Even the background makes me feel happy.
marcello (Jan 23, 2006)
I don't think you should be able to delete anything. it's silly.

To me, it honestly looks like a bent old horseshoe with a tuft of hay at the top... and... some cow placenta hanging out of it. HAH

The alien face with jagged teeth is awesome.

The eyes remind me of the Corinthian, from the second volume of the Sandman graphic novel series. You know, if you've read those. Anyway, very snazzy, as usual.

it's quite chill that you're drawing again.

So, am I getting better at drawing or what?
SYTHE (Jan 15, 2006)
It would look real if you used darker blacks and whiter whites. It looks more like fingernail polish. Check out my peice (A rose by any other name...)
marcello (Jan 16, 2006)
That looks nothing like water. Water is transparent. Look at some photos of what you're trying to draw, google images is a good place to start.
Harurie (Jan 19, 2006)
ooo thanks for the advice! I'll look at some examples on google now ^^
thanks again

2draw meet - post votes!
marcello (Jan 8, 2006)
Ok, so let's get this started. First thing is to pick a date and find out who's coming. FAQ: What is it? The original pretext was "2draw-con" but we really do not have the resources or backing (or legal support) to do anything extravagant or serious, so we're calling this a 2draw meet. Basically, come at your own risk/safety/etc., we cannot be held responsible for disappearances and whatnot. There will probably be some kind of age restriction and/or parental requirement, and...

I've asked my sister for a character she would like me to draw, and there it is, this is Laureen, a character of mine. Nothing more to say, I love her white hair.

I've tried to delete it, but I couldn't so, until I find out the way to delete this it'll be like that.
fleeting_memory (Jan 17, 2006)
I thought it looked very nice and I enjoyed looking at it_I am sad that you took it away :(
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 17, 2006)
I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, it's just that a very important part of art is to know the subject you are painting. It's a very minor thing, and probably only I would have noticed it... the arrow would just be on a "rest" part of the bow, and her hand would be slightly lower, that's all. It's still a very nice picture, regardless.
marcello (Jan 18, 2006)
Hrm, but do all (namely, medieval) bows have the rest part? In any case, I do believe the arrow would be on the other side of the bow. I'm not sure why, but for some reason that just makes more sense to me.
edit: Maybe not, but you're right about the hand being lower, and that arrowhead is way too big.
