Vunderbar!
marcello (Feb 25, 2008)
yea. that was pretty crappy. I'm not quite sure why it decided to explode now of all times. I reworked how image submission works somewhat, adding yet another safeguard. |

Did you actually draw something?Yes see you did.
lori (Feb 8, 2008)
where was I when this was posted? it's pretty forkin' cool, really like the mad blue burst
FuzzyWuzzy (Mar 23, 2008)
I've come back to this a few times now, I love how it flows and shows ideas, basic ramblings of a creative mind. It also shows depth which is hard to capture for many, shhhh don't tell anyone but I actually had a dream with this one in it, thats what brought me back again, I know I'm a goof. |

the small box would only have one vanishing point because it sits parallel to the horizon. It's vanishing point should go back to the horizon centered above the small box and slightly to the right, independent of the vanishing points of the large box.
FuzzyWuzzy (Mar 9, 2008)
In imagination a vanishing point can be from any angle so the philosophy of the above statement is only in reality, I love a creative mind and in art it can be expressed from any angle *steps down from soap box and runs from room quickly before tomatoes are thrown* |

It looks like something my 2D Design instructor would talk about for hours.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Nov 30, 2007)
I am completely entranced at the way you have used relatively simple shapes and contrast of colors with such impact.... how the black portion, although the internal space it creates is asymmetric, manages to effectively circumvent the central portion of the red "one" with so much visual power... I am rendered further speechless. ;)
davincipoppalag (Nov 30, 2007)
I'm just glad you fixed the submission error.
wishuponyou (Dec 31, 2007)
Such vivid colour...the shading and structure only a true genious could compose. BRAVO! (: |

I like Lascaux & I like Chibi. Chibi has better blending, dodge, airbrush, and ability to increase brush size to really big. Lascaux has gradient and many fine features too.
I like Chibi for some drawings & Lascaux for others, depending on the effect(s) I'm trying to get. I hope we can keep Chibi so that we can have more choices in drawing applets.
Thank you, marcello, for lettings us try Chibi.

re: enjoy: lascaux has smooth lines if you play around with the settings. choose the 3rd brush type, set the flow under 150 (though it depends on your brush size, larger brushes need larger flow), and make sure antialias is on. that should pretty much do it. be wary of the 1pixel brush, as it sometimes behaves specially. :-) If you zoom in you can get fractional brush sizes (like 1.5 pixels), which will go a step further for smooth lines.
