You captured the essence of him really well. That's really really important in drawing a portrait. If you don't have that, it's just a good picture of somebody who looks alot like that person. If you can capture it, it IS that person. I think you are alot better at drawing portraits than you give yourself credit for Poppa :)

I think its a great sketch, and without the title she would just look very concentrated-not scary, my only crit is that her left am from shoulder to elbow looks too long, I know its because its difficult to draw folded arms - maybe if you just raised it up a touch...you have great skills no!

That's a very interesting design...sort of reminiscent of a Rorsach (sp?) ink blot test card.. .. I see an anchor..which could be a tree too. I rather like this mizz Beanie
