I couldn't decide what to draw, so this just happend *hehe*. This is my first piccy here! :D It's kinda Halloween-ish, vampire-ish maybe. It was done kinda fast, so the colouring job is pretty rushed ^^;; |

This drawing... well... I wanted to test my tablet with my new-installed Linux Fedora Core 2. I wasn't in the best sitting position to do high quality stuff, but I still think it looks cool. It represents one of my characters, Mimi Junta, using the power of her element (if you haven't guessed, it's the water). I think its a great picture, even though many improvements would need to be done. Please, comment your heart content to help me improve ! ;)

Does the cursor position get reset every time you move the pen away from the tablet for you? (in Fedora Core 2 I mean)Nice drawing! >:D |XOD|

Depends, my greatest problem is that it looks like my tablet isn't big enough for the screen. The driver for my tablet (JamStudio... yeah, don't laugh), I developped it myself because the one with my Fedora litterally sucks. I am foreseeing improvement on this driver, though the important (fact that I can draw with it) is working, no ? heh. Thank you, I use a wacom tablet and I think that this is where most of the tablet development has been done for linux. I have put linux aside for a while since I was a bit too busy and had a few problems which I had no time to solve, but I still have it installed in my computer. I believe it would be very fun to achieve doing in Linux most if not all of the things you do in Windows, but it can be a challenge sometimes. Also, I see that you are back after a long absence... .... I can't believe i actually made this. I am not good in drawing at all... but this.... even if she looks fatty... SHE'S NICE ! Okay, This drawing is full of first times, well, my first time using Lascaux, first time drawing a furry, first time doing high-detailed hairs, first time doing background effects like those, first time doing hard shading, etc... Well, I think it turned to be one of my best drawings. Well, tell me your sincere comments, thanks ! (btw, count on me... I am using Lascaux from now on ^^). Note: This drawing is inpired from a work made by Tanuki.

I'd say by the looks of it you must be talented since I like the way you drew her... but the only thing that gets me is... who's Tanuki???

Tanuki is a girl i knew long time ago. I just give her the credits, because the original, she made it... though, beside the look, well... both drawings are pretty different. And about being talented......... i dunno, i am more programmer than i am an artist. heh |

I like the coloring of it. Pretty nice and smooth. Looks like its done in pastel or something.

Hehe, I understand what you mean, sometimes though images are found in other places and people wouldn't know who posted it. I have even seen some people add their homepage url on the image. However Crisann's signature is very calligraphic and makes the picture even more beautiful <:)|XOD|

BHF! Wow... I love it. I could never take so long on a drawing, heh. There are some things that bug me about the drawing though, the right eyes seems too small and doesn't fit very well, and at the top there isn't really a set hairline... Yeah, well thats just my opinion :)

Well, a Fallen Angel into the Hell. Right. Now, let's do my own critic... I don't think its that good, the face color isn't cool, my "watercolor" effect isn't perfect, my wings... well, there nice, which they would be better. Well anyway, I want to hear more from people.

thanks for the tips. I'll be sure to check out everything you told me. Also, I see that I am greatly improving in Oekaki, and I only use my mouse (my tablet is broken >_<). Thanks again.

Very nicely done. I like the wing definition as it is. maybe I don't know what I'm talkig about. *shrugs*. Was this inspired by my "The Fall of Lucifer"?

doodlibop, of course you know what you're talking about. The feathers look magnificent, but where they become the tendons, they just need a different texture than the wings XD

This is my favorite of all your art-and I love all your art-the concept is so heart wrenchingly well portrayed-the shame in the fall of his head and closing of his wings because he realizes what he has done-you captured the moment of dispair perfectly-you seriously inspire me to draw(even if I'm not as good yet) don't ever lose your imagination and talent

I am new here, but I've seen planty of Xod's strange art around. Well... its still art, okay, let's pretend its not babies dyings, but if you see the artistic side of it, well Xod must have problems with babies (or maybe he's a tenderheart with them), and look at those textures effects ! I wish i could do the same. Another great piece of work, Xod.

Everyone else was drawing dragons, so I tried. :D Well, it's not great, but I think he's cute. He's got an itch on his neck, apparently.(Um, I kind of forgot to shade his scaley things...and the animation's too messed up, I can't edit...rawwrrr. Try to pretend there's shading there.) |
